Hi I already use ss, vit cef diy in am and renova .05% and cerave pm. Should I add ninnianag and if so when? How much more beneficial would ninnianag be for me? I am 41 and I have fine lines. |

i'm using the same stuff atm and i'm planning on adding it to my regimen too. i'm hoping it'll double as a moisturiser since i can imagine three products at night could become a bit 'tacky'.
as far as i know it brightens, promotes collagen production and prevents the loss of collagen + more.
where are you thinking of adding it? am or pm? i'm not sure it would be as effective on top of renova since it's more emollient? not sure though, i use the gel. |

IIRC KinNiaNag was formulated as a night serum. Nobody can tell you how much more beneficial it would be because everyone responds differently to any given active or combination. DragoN helpfully posted links to published research backing her serum here

This product surely sounds very intriguing to me. Can anyone who has been using write a review? Especially someone with sensitive skin? That would be very helpful! |

RS, my skin is extremely sensitive to Retin-A: just cant tolerate it. I use KinNiaNag at night and really see more improvement in improved texture, size of pores, fading of hyperpig and suppression of hormonal zits than I ever did with Retin-A. Without the irritation/inflammation/uglies.
Its well tolerated by most all skintypes (that I have feedback on anyway).
INGREDS: kinetin 0.1%, Niacinamide, N-acetyl glucosamine, vitamin E acetate, algae extract, water, preservative, oil of choice, lecithin.
Kinetin shapes up very well side by side with antioxidants idebenone, vitamin E, ubiquinone, vitamin C and lipoic acid. (Green tea doesnt even get honorable mention):

Its a simple formula without all the fillers, fragrance, colorings and parabens of dept store brands and works well for me. HTH |

I use it and love it - used up a full unit, had seen skin improvements within a month. |

Hi Fawnie, do you know if there's any problem with applying KNN over tretinoin or cp's? I'd like to use it at night, but it'd have to be less often than I'd like if I'm forced to alternate with the others. |

Hey Lori! Some ppl do layer it but I wouldnt. Too many actives muck things up imo. I dont use tretinoin anymore; KNN (or "G-Force" or "Holy Grail") works just as well w/o being as drying or irritating.
I use CPs in a separate U/S treatment gel a few times a week tho. |

I use the KNN and have had great results. It's cleared up my skin better than anything else I have used, and I have used RA, too. It is very effective on nose pores for me, too. I also have lightening and brightening under my eyes, too, but don't know if it's just the kinetin serum or the regimen of KNN at night, plus my C serum and green tea in the AM.
It's all I seem to need at night. It's one of my HG, for sure. |

RussianSunshine, did you see any other differences in your skin while using this? This product is something I'm thinking of trying. Thanks
PS: I have tried other SC products and have not seen any hair increase so that is not a concern for me. |

Are you also using Retin-A with it? Retin-A has been reported by some as triggering facial hair growth. Kinetin has not.
I rmmbr that you liked your kinetin product v much and saw reduced pore size, overall brightening and improvement in your skin. I would try stopping the Retin-A to see if the hair growth stops. |

I have used this serum for about a month now. I do mix it with other serums at night, Fawnies Holy Grail and a retinol cream, and RL serum.
I do really like the way it sinks in to my skin, it may be a little early to tell what its doing and I am also derma rolling too. But having said that my skin seems to like it and looks better with using it.
Thanks Fawnie ![Exclamation](images/smiles/exclaim.gif) |

I've been using Retin A for 8 years now. Do you think it can trigger facial hair growth after 8 years? I do like the product, fawnie, but I think I have more facial hair now than I want! |

I have not noticed any major differences in my skin, to be honest. I love using it because it has nice consistency and I know that it does not contain junk.
fawnie, I never reported "overall brightening and improvement in your skin." You must have confused me with someone else. |
