Hi.
I am looking for a new scrub to remove my sunscreen at night in the shower and just to ensure in that my skin is fine in general. It must be paraben free. My skin is sensitive and it’s skintype 1/ 2. The sunscreen that I am using is Vanicream Suncreen Sensitive Skin SPF 60.
Thanks. |

I think that Aubrey Organics' Vegecol facial scrub is quite gentle. |

I am trying to be opt for more natural alternatives to my skin care. So, normally I use the OCM (oil cleansing method). However, sunscreen is pretty hard to take off with that. And, the sunscreens I use (I alternate between Badgers and La Roche Posay) are REALLY thick. I have seen that mixing granules of brown sugar (or salt) with olive oil makes a great scrub---which is natural to boot. Just be gentle while scrubbing and rub in circular upwards motions. |

I don't think you necessarily need a scrub (grainy is what I imagine you are talking about), but instead a good cleanser/exfoliator would do it. Like a lactic acid or glycolic cleanser or a basic cleanser plus a Clarisonic. |

Have you considered a microfibre cloth? If used very gently it can be very effective.
I wonder why sunscreen would be hard to take off using ocm? I don't understand.
Also, I keep seeing this reference to "skintype 1/ 2". Where is this categorizing coming from? Does someone have a link? |
