Hi, recently in the past few months I have noticed thick black lines running from my eye sockets down to the top of my cheeks.
I have slightly grey eye circles but these lines from my sockets to the top of my cheeks are black in colour and make it look like I'm really ill.
My diet is healthy and I get enough sleep so I don't know what else it is.
Is there anything that this indicates? Any underlying internal issues?
It's really irritating me and depressing me at the moment because people keep asking me am I ill. |

It's your veins showing because the skin under the eyes is the thinnest on the body plus it gets worse as we get older. I've developed them too. I don't know if there is a product that actually works but from what I've read, we need to use skin care products that promote collagen and that includes taking supplements for collagen promotion. Some people suggest having filler injections under the eyes. I hope other posters will weigh in on this topic and hopefully post if they found something helpful. |

Yeah, I've looked into a lot of eye creams and collagen creaters and what people say and some people say that these do NOTHING or NEXT TO NOTHING which is really depressing.
Also, I've seen people say that fillers can cause lumps and bumps under the eyes and also severe bruising to the face.
I wish there was a way to easily thicken the under eye skin. It doesn't seem that hard to thicken skin when you say it, but it evidently really is. |

You could try massaging that area and seeing if that helps. |

Isn't dermarolling supposed to thicken skin? |

I already have tried that a handful of times and noticed no real change.
It'd be interesting to know what is the best way to massage it because I don't know. Maybe I need to stick to doing it.
As for dermarolling, I'll look into that. |

I'd recommend trying it for a few weeks, but of course, unless they are light, it may simply not be enough to reduce them to the degree that you want...it depends on the nature of the issue. But at least it is cheap ![Wink](images/smiles/wink.gif) |
