What are some of your favorite eyeshadow colors?
How did you determine that these colors would work best on you? |

Smashbox Blue Eyes kit is great basic kit for me. For the most part it is a neutral set. (I have lots of neutral sets - Urban Decay I and II)
I have blue eyes that can show either blue-green or blue-violet depending upon color.
If I want to bring out the blue I use something with orange or bronzey tones. If I want to bring out the green I use violet or cranberryish tones. (Hard Candy Rendevous palate is great for this).
A good way to decide 'your' colors is to use a color opposite your eye color on a color wheel. Thus- the opposite of blue is orangish tones which will make blue eyes pop(supposedly |

I have dark brown eyes so I normally buy in earth tones such as dark brown, grey, dark copper and black. Plum color also works for me. The greens and blues are not complimentary colors for me. I don't like light shimmery colors as those make my eyes so "small". I have asian eyes and I will mostly stick to "safe" colors such as earth tone colors. But then, I am also open to suggestions
What about you? What do you prefer?
