Wherever you purchased the zinc oxide from should be able to tell you if it's an oil soluble or water soluble powder. If it's water soluble, you'll be able to mix mix mix and have it.
The mix time will probably depend on temperature and what was used to thicken the aloe gel. Unless you were talking about using straight aloe juice, in which case the zinc oxide might not stay distributed evenly no matter much you mixed. |

Then get into your cosmetics kitchen and mix mix mix!
I hope it turns out the way you're expecting. I'm assuming your going to use this as a sunscreen? Let us know if you need any other help. |

Is a combination of aloe vera gel and zinc oxide enough sun protection?
I have the measurements and I'd like to know if that's enough or I need any other weird ingredient to provide full coverage and avoid tanning? |

I would not try making your own sunscreen. |
