Hello everyone. To start off I'll say I've done a search and have also seen a dermatologist for my problem.
I've been dealing with eyelash loss from one eye for a few months now. I have two bare patches, and it's just so sparse. It really looks pretty ridiculous.
My dermatologist said she could see the sparse areas, and checked my scalp for thinning as well. I am having no hair loss. It's only the eyelashes that are affected. She said it's rare to have alopecia in only the eyelashes, but possible. She also said many patients come in saying stress has caused hair loss or eyelash loss, but it's never been shown in studies that this can be possible.
I've tried a few products, RapidLash being the latest. I'm seeing no progress. It actually seems to make my lashes brittle. I lose so many a day I'm actually afraid!
Does anyone have experience with this? Products or remedies that help... or maybe even advice?
