A few years back I read titanium dioxide isn't good and have noticed it's in many BB creams. Is it really that harmful? |

I think titanium dioxide gets a bad rap on forums because it's less photostable than zinc oxide. If you can, always use an sunscreen with zinc oxide over titanium dioxide.
It probably gets used in bb creams because of it's opacity and high spf. (& remember that spf only account for uvb, not uva rays.) If you use a really good moisturizer and/or serum underneath it, you should be fine though. Any sunscreen active is better than no sunscreen active at all. hth |
