I have previously used TCA skin peel products from an internet company with great success. But this time was a disaster. I put a 30% TCA peel on my neck area and only left it on for 3 minutes (suggested was 5-8 min.). It burned like the dickens so I neutralized it (maybe not long enough) and stood in a lukewarm shower rinsing it. It turned purple and then in a few hours brown. This happened on Saturday evening. I tried to attach photos but couldn't. It is very sore, peeling, raw, and painful. I've been washing the area with a gentle non perfumed gel cleanser and putting on a generic antibiotic cream with a pain reliever in it. I cover it with gauze if I have to go out (mostly because I'm embarrassed at the result of my vanity!). Do you have any other suggestions for treatment. I just don't want scaring and my neck area was always my area of complaint. I'm afraid I've made it worse. The burn goes from ear to ear, under the chin to the top of the collar bone.
