I've been trying to do the tablespoon of acv in water first thing in the morning, but I haven't been religious about it.
Today I realized that part of the reason may be because it gives me a lightly buzzed feeling, which I don't particularly care for first thing in the morning.
It feels like that first sip of wine when your all your muscles feel a bit tired. I'm not a big drinker, but I do drink, so its not like I have an aversion to it, but not when I want to wake up and feel refreshed, and get things done.
I guess its because of the fermentation.. a little of the wine/action remaining. Does anyone know of a way to counteract it? I was thinking I could drink it later in the day, but part of the point, I gather, is to alkanize your body first thing in the morning. And again, I'm not drinking for a buzz, i.e. following through with more booze, so it'd probably just be annoying. At night, I think I'd risk heartburn... plus blech... ruin my dinner!
I know lemons are similar, and I drink lemon water here and there, but apparently ACV has a range of different benefits. |

LoriA, don't mean to hijack your thread but i
had to laugh when i read about your tsp in the am giving you a light buzz. it made me think of my dad long ago making this brew/concoction from a cactus he had shipped to himself all the way from a healthfood farm in mexico. he brewed it down into some kind of clear liquid, added pinches and dashes of other "vitamins and minerals" and insisted a tsp of this "medicine" every am was healthy and very therapeutic... in retrospect, the only thing that it could've been imo was a form of tequilla...lol
eta -- mebbe try 1 tsp of ACV instead of 1 tbsp, sorry, idk |
