Hi I wonder if it is okay to add ferulic acid to commercial vitamin c serum with the ingredients:
Aqua (water), aloe barbadensis leaf juice(¹), glycerin, polyglyceryl-6 distearate, helianthus annuus (sunflower) seed oil(¹), cetyl alcohol, squalane, theobroma cacao (cocoa) seed butter(¹), citrus aurantium bergamia (bergamot) fruit oil, citrus aurantium dulcis (orange) peel oil, citrus limon (lemon) peel oil, borago officinalis seed oil(¹), linum usitatissimum (linseed) seed oil(¹), rosa canina fruit oil(¹), arnica montana flower extract(¹), calendula officinalis flower extract(¹), camellia sinensis leaf extract(¹), chamomilla recutita (matricaria) flower extract(¹), citrus limon (lemon) peel extract*, lavandula angustifolia (lavender) flower/leaf/stem extract(¹), olea europaea (olive) leaf extract(¹), algin, ascorbic acid, glyceryl stearate, tocopheryl acetate, xanthan gum, alcohol(¹), potassium sorbate, sodium benzoate, citral, limonene, linalool.

*Also known as Lemon Bioflavonoids, Product is preserved with Sodium Benzoate
Contains 70% organic content. No parabens, harsh preservatives, synthetic colors or fragrances, phthalates, sodium lauryl or laureth sulfate.
If yes, can I know how much do I need. And also, I would like to dilute 88% of lactic acid to 50%, can I know if I need to measure the ph level after diluting? Thanks! |

| A small pinch should do it, no need to retest ph. If you want exact measurements there is a C diy thread hiding here somewhere, but I eyeball my ferulic addition. |
