1 tsp L ascorbic acid crystals
3 1/2 tsp distilled water
1 tsp Glycerine
6 drops Vit E Oil
even after repeated stirring for more than an hour the Vit C crystals we not fully dissolvingin Distilled Water so i got frustrated and after 1 hour I added the Glycerine and Vit E ( 6 Drops ) and added it to a brown 1 ounce bottle , and dumped it in the refridgerator , In the morning after shaking I Noticed that even after 12 hours the Vit C had not dissolved and small crystals were had settled in the bottom , anyways I shook the bottle and applied the Watery Mix on my face got a Tingling/Burning sensation , and in 15 mins I cud see that the water had absorbed on my face but the gritty Vit C Crystals had formed small white beads on many places on my face , I washed after 2 hours and then i applied my Moisturizer and went out in the sun , Now I can STILL feel the Burning sensation on my right cheek , Have I burned my skin with too much vit c or is it Normal ? why is my Mix so watery and why has the Vit C not fully dissolved , Pls help |

In order to dissolve the vit c powder I put the shot glass with the crystals in distilled water in a bowl of warm water and stir the shot glass until it dissolves the crystals. Doesn't take longer than 2-3 minutes. |

Also...do you have really dry skin because the amount of oil and glycerin in your serum is high. The serum may be too greasy on your skin. |
