Not sure which one it is but I have been using the Tripollar Stop and the Sqoom for the last 2 weeks and noticed the other day that I have a faint, small blue vein underneath both eyes showing through the skin. Am convinced one of these devices has caused this as never has this problem before. Was wondering if anyone new of any reasons why this may be happening, which tool would be causing it and will the veins go away?
Thanks all |

I have used both devices under my eyes and never experienced an issue. I have numerous friends using ultrasound/ultrasonic under their eyes and no one has reported any problem, only good results. My guess would be the heat from the stop could be an issue for you. You could contact the company about any adverse issues like that. A message to PQ or Christine Byer would be good since they are experts in the field and are familiar with both technologies. |

Thanks Toby. Helpful as always
Actually I did a little research and am now wondering if it is the clarisonic which is causing the veins to appear! Someone else posted here on EDS that they thought it affected capillaries and I found this through google:
"I bought a Mia last time they offered it on Q and got tons of broken capillaries all over my face after I used it about a week. I used the gentlest head, every other day, and did not press hard. It trashed my skin. I sent it back AND contacted the Clarisonic people to complain. A lady who answered their CS line admitted that they had that same complaint from other callers. IF YOU PERSONALLY ARE PRONE TO HAVING BROKEN CAPILLARIES DO NOT BUY THE CLARISONIC. It will likely worsen your situation."
and:
"Same here- noticed spider veins with Mia- they were not there prior to my usage of this product and I am not old enough for thin skin yet. |
