I'm 27 and I've been doing retin a, exfoliatiing with lactic acid, and TC peels for two years now. Prior to that I've always taken good care of my skin using over the counter products
I guess the hard work is paying off because no one can really guess my age. Everyone is curious about how old I am. The other day at work, 3 or 4 coworkers kept begging me to tell them my age..i guess they can't tell if I am younger (early 20s or maybe late 20s early 30s). I have a few people who keep trying to get me to tell them. I refuse to reveal this because I don't like being put into a box. And I know how women are, when they know your age they like to tell you what you can and cannot wear..
Maybe I look ageless. I do feel that I look the same as I did since I was 18. I never looked like a teenager anyway. Sometimes I was mistaken for mid 20s. |

If u look like when u did at 18, that's a great thing. I would highly put into your daily routine vitamin c serum and sunscreen. Around age 30 is when ppl really notice fine lines creeping up etc. I'm turning 28 this year and still get id'ed which I certainly take as a compliment. |

I think its a good thing that people can't guess your age! Personally for me though its sort of funny I'm going to be 17 soon and people can't seem to figure out how old I am, I usually get that I look 12ish to 13ish . But then again some people take into consideration my tall height and the fact I wear slacks and a dress shirt every day and think I could be in my 20's. no one knows for sure until I tell them or have to show my ID to even get into the cinema! haha. Hopefully this is all thanks to my genes, my father is 41 and we always get mistaken for brother and sister or a couple because he looks like hes in his 20's!I hope that's how I turn out too! He told me he looks so young because he never went out into the sunlight very much as a kid or young adult; that certainly is the case for me too because I have mild allergies to sunlight if I'm out side in direct sunlight for over 15 minutes I start burning and itching and turning purple while getting dizzy and things...so yea!
I like the fact that you keep your age a secret! it must be killing everyone to know haha.
- sorry for rambling on about myself a bit . |

I never tell my age. I agree that people want to put you into a box and expect you to think and act a certain why. I always lie on online dating websites. At least I can get away with it! |

I think we are forced into an age box telling us how we are supposed to look, act, and dress starting at age 13 maybe even younger for some people. It is bad enough the govt already profiles us, we really do not need everyone around us doing that too.
I agree. Asking a person's age just encourages judgement and it is so nice to hear all of you are not letting the people around you force you into a judgement box |

I think it's one thing to lie about age in some aspects and another to lie about age on a online dating site. When it comes to love, there are far too many games already played. Why not start out completely honest |

I was in my late 30s! Then (widdow hood at 38 and all that extra stress) 40 hit and I sort of fell apart..lol. I'm 50 now and am told I look like I'm in my 30s (I don't believe people though..lol). I wear sunscreen daily and use retin A . I also use Cure to exfoliate once per week. Uee sunscreen religiously and drink a lot of water and that will help you to maintain some youthful appearance characteristics. |
