I've been reading a lot lately about Thermage. The posts on EDS are from a few years back. Apparently there is a new and improved Thermage??
Has anyone had this treatment recently (within the last year or so) and if so, could you please share your experience? |

Hi there, you are correct. The new Thermage is called the CPT, and both comfort and results have improved. They even have it noted on the doctor finder on the Thermage website! |

Patricia Wexler, dermatologist to the stars, likes Ultherapy and has used it twice on herself in the past few years. I looked for reviews and they are all over the place so I expect it's the skill of the practitioner that counts.
Don't know anything about the new Thermage but my plastic surgeon discontinued doing the previous version because he said the results were minimal. He now uses radio frequency. |

The person who posted above me is not well informed. Thermage is radio frequency technology and has over 10 years of experience behind it. I just looked on my dermatologists website and he has it. Some great result photos too. |

There are probably different types of radio frequency type treatments with different names. Thermage is a particular treatment or technique that my doctor used to offer but stopped because the other one, which he calls radio frequency, gave better results for less cost. He is also part of a new FDA test panel for another type of radio frequency.
I can't keep all of these new technologies straight! As long as it's not surgery and the price is reasonable, I am interested. |
