Over a year ago Cellbone was sending out free samples. I can't remember the names of the products I used. The samples were generous, packaged well and spread nicely. After a few weeks of use I can't say I was wowed by this line. In saying that, we all have different needs and skin types.

Thank you for your quick replies. I emailed them late last night with questions and the answer was here early this morning. They said it would cost 12.00, I imagine US, to ship to Canada. That's pretty decent and there are large free samples with orders and it all sounds good and no cones that I can see. I am thinking I should try this out. There is a sale on right now.

I have been using their several products for a while. I like them a lot, especially sunscreen and vitamin C serums. Bad Grin I use their other products as well.

I wondered why there are no reviews of their products on EDS forums… Question Question .. And how others compare cellbone products to other brands… Question Question .

Also I bought some actives including Kigelia Africana and want to see responses on Kigelia Africana from other users…. Any input??

What did you order? I just checked out their site - $31 for 23% Vitamin C plus you get a free .5 oz. of Glycolic-C super serum with every order. Sounds too good to be true - does that mean it is?? hmm

I also noticed on their website, when referring to the 23% Vit C, that it says:

"The L-Ascorbic Acid in the C23 High Potency C- Serum will oxidize and darken with time. This natural oxidation will not significantly alter the effectiveness of the product. Freshness Guaranteed"

I'm not so sure I believe it won't alter the effectiveness of the product. Confused What do ya'll think??

I have the c23? and the AOX super and the free glycolic. I"m liking these so far very much. As much as any other c products for sure. I'll keep with it and let you know. I put the AOX over the C product and I swear it's doing some nice things.

I ordered C23 potency Serum, Hydra B5= Gel, Pure Hyaluronic acid, Collagen toner, Eye Complex eye firm(the most expensive one at 68.00.) They did have another peptide that was recommended, but it was 128.00 for 1 oz. The order says they put in 3 free samples also. I thought it was all really great- Now I need it to WORK for MY skin.

Dear fab50,
I do like C23 a lot and use it every day in the morning. I need just a little amount of it, a few drops for the entire face area, I also put it on my hands. I am going to keep on using it. My neck is more sensitive then face and was damaged by CPs, so for my neck I use just cellbone pure Hyaluronic Acid in the mornings, and like it.

Glycolic Super C is a little sticky and could be used in the evening, so that you do not have this sticky feeling during the day time. I have fair sensitive skin and found that Glycolic Super C is a bit strong for me.

Also I got cellbone Matrixyl 3000 solution to use in the eyes and forehead area, I do not know if I am getting results with Matrixyl3000, I do not have much fine lines in eyes area and feel like camellia and rosehip oils (see below) are working fine in eye area for now.

On top of it I got Kigelia Africana solution, already used it up and looking to get more. Kigelia Africana used in some Cellex-C products such as Cellex-C Undereye Toning Gel. It is said that some African women use it for breast lifting and firming: http://cellbone.com/Kigelia.htm I got interested in it for the face and possibly for the neck, but have not used it long enough to see the lifting effect, and would be interested experiences of other users… It was info on cellbone site that originally triggered my interest in Kigelia Africana solution.

In the evenings I use ether camellia oil or rosehip oil for entire face and neck, plus additional castor oil on eyelids. I feel that those oils helped me a lot, I got the oils from GoW.

mpstat,
Thanks so much for all the great info. I'm a bit of a skincare junkie, although I am conservative in my purchases and do not overwhelm myself with a multitude of products. I try to keep it simple. Right now, I'm pleased with my routine and have seen a lot of improvement in my skin. I'm using PSF's Vitamin C in the a.m. and like it, but the C23 piqued my interest, especially with the great deal they have going on right now. I use Retin-A at night, and am thinking I always will. It has helped immeasurably with my adult acne and I can't imagine being without it. Wrinkles really are not much of an issue with me, even though I am now 50. My main concern, in addition to keeping my acne at bay, is tone and texture. The vitamin c (which I also use on my neck, chest and hands), bha, and retin-a are really helping. I've never heard of Kigelia Africana solution before, but I'm going to check out the link in your post.

Thanks again for your help!

sister sweets do you see any improvements with cellbone products? in another thread you mentioned that you like Restore too....what do you like about them?

I just placed another order for Sunscreen, C23, and Hyaluronic Acid. I use them all the time and like it. Also Getting Zinc Sulfate, thinking about DIY C serum, and it is recommended to add zinc sulfate into it.... I am not sure though if it worth it to do it myself or should I continue buying already ready C serum hmm

sister sweets - I'd love to hear more about the Super AOX Skin Firm Moisturizer and if it caused you to break-out or was heavy on your skin in any way (can you wear it under make-up or only at night?). It sounds lovely but the Shea Butter that is listed as the second ingredient has me a bit worried.

I'd also really like to hear more about the C23 Serum and how it compares against other Vit-C serums that you've used. Oh, and has it caused your skin to become dry in any way? That is my one concern with a higher concentration.

Lastly, do you or anyone else happen to know what the pH level of the C23 is? Thanks!

mpstat,
Which hyaluronic did you get - the gel or the serum? How do you like it and what is the consistency like? Same question for the C23 - what is the consistency like and what does it feel like once you've applied it to your face? Is it heavy or oily feeling, or does it feel like nothing at all? How does it compare to other C's you've tried?

Sorry for all the questions!! Embarassed

Hello - I am using the C23 (let dry), followed by the restore - sometimes I mix this 50-50 with body moisturizer (don't know why it's called that). I let this dry, then follow with the AOX. I have had no problems with breaking out (but I do use a clarisonic a few X week and a scrub from a DIY, plus a NCN pumpkin mask - these keep things clear.)

My skin looks - geez - it looks prettier. Firm, glowy, more youthful. I also take vitamins (MSM, C-ester, hyaluronic acid, multi and Omega 3)....

Being on EDS has helped me so much in putting together a good program. I like these products the best so far - the price is very good for what you get. I am seeing results - and it hasn't been all that long.

I also use super CP at night followed by the hydra cp serum from Cellbone. and sometime I use EMU if I feel I need it.

Thanks for the info, Sister Sweets, it helps to know that you've used these products for a while now and really like them. The prices are so tempting at Cellbone right now that I might just go ahead and place an order as I need another supply of Vitamin C serum and really like the sound of the AOX. Now all I have to do is strike a better shipping deal to Canada and I'll be all set! Wink

The pH is 2.3. I emailed their customer service department and they responded promptly. I'm also interested in ordering this C serum, in fact, I'm thinking it might happen today. Very Happy

I guess that's why it is called C23 as in 2.3. I have just started using it also. It is thin and goes on easy and then you let it dry before adding other products. I received the glycolic C as a freebie but have not opened it yet.

fab50, I use Pure Hyaluronic Acid Gel, it is just water and Hyaluronic Acid. It is clear with consistency thicker then water; somewhere is between water and DMAE gel. DMAE gel is a little thicker. I like it and find it light for my skin. I use Hyaluronic Acid Gel every morning for neck and hands. Vitamin C is not heavy at all, just like sister sweets I use C23 first, followed by sunscrean. Glycolic C super serum though I find somewhat sticky.

I also take vitamins & supplements - C, Omega, MSM, ACV, Hyaluronic Acid, CoQ10, Piracetam, Centrophenoxine, Alpha Lipoic Acid & Acetyl L-Carnitine , and recently I added Heliocare. I read recently on this forum that Heliocare acts as a sunprotection from within the body, helps to remove sun damage.

I also do facial exercises, and use DPL.

Like most of us I learned a lot from this forum, and keep on learning. Thanks to all the forum members! Smile Smile
