I have been doing the Takana massage without a break for about a month and a half now, I decided to stop massaging a week ago and I noticed an incredible toned, lifted and tighter skin.
Was it because I gave my skin a break to regenerate and tone back like when you excersice your whole body or it's because Tanaka was making my face saggy?
A bit confused here. What exactly happened?
Thank You! |

I'm curious to hear what people have to say too.
I find that using my skincare products, and manually exfoliating less often results in happier skin. I feel like I was just tiring it out keeping it on an endless treadmill!
How often were you doing the massage? |

I've heard such conflicting opinions on tanaka. This should be an interesting conversation. There's always different factors. Everyone uses different pressure, does it less often, etc.
I think my skin has gotten better since I started the routine. I do the tanaka massage while I'm cleansing with my ocm. At least once a day, sometimes twice. Been at it for a while now. This combo really helps remove everything that's stuck in my pores. So when I'm doing it, I've got a lot more lubrication than someone just using a cream or gel. That may have something to do with it.
There's always the chance that it might just be a temporary lifting effect and it's not really helping long term. Perhaps I could quit for a few days and see if there's any change. Just as an experiment. |

I have been doing it for a month and a half along with other exercises and stopped for a week and my skin seemed to look much better, younger, healthier and happier.
Not sure if you have to rest for a few days after Tanaka to see real results? |

Yes, but how often were you doing them? Once or twice a day, every other day?
And if you were doing other exercises too, maybe that could have resulted in a bit of overload. |
