Well I got this as a forum gift, and gave it a try . First reaction and feeling was it's too heavy, it feels like there is something on my skin, my face was shiny and I felt compelled to apply makeup to cover up the shine.
However, my face remained moisturized throughout the day.
Next few times I kept using it, I find that if I give it enough time to sink in, it's fine and stops the shine almost.
I do love it on my neck/chest. The negative is that it's in a wide mouth jar, and you have to stick your hand/finger in it. I prefer creams/lotions that squeeze out, without adding bacteria from my hands.
The scent is very pleasant and not overwhelming. The texture is thick and it glides smoothly. You really need very tiny bit or prepare to wait 10-15 minutes to sink in.
Between my regular Dr. H and Juice beauty I am still inclined toward Dr. H, however JB is a good organic alternative that is also less pricey.
This is the product reviewed

I ordered this moisturizer and I really like it. It has great ingredients, I've been using at night, no problems sinking in. |

Yeah, see I agree with the approach that at night the skin needs to get rid of its stuff, so I don't apply anything overnight.
And as a day moisturizer I find it's a bit too heavy. I feel like my forehead is constantly wet, and when I touch my hand to it - it is!
So I love love it on my neck, decolte and breast area, it really smells lovely and feels silky and amazing, but for my oily t-zone it's a bit too heavy. Now to be honest I just noticed that the Dr. H Light rose moisturizer contains Bentonite - green clay.. Which has great absorption capabilities, and that's what's probably contributing to my face staying so balanced and not oily.... |

I have also purchased this product and I thought it was way too thick for my skin. It simply did not sink in. I gave up after a few tries because my skin felt too oily. |

this sounds like it would be great for me. I have dry skin, so the oily feeling would not be a problem as i tend to need the exra oil. Did anyone find that it clogs pores or causes breakouts at all? |

I didn't notice it at first but it does seem to clog pores on my forehead and I did have a very minor breakout of red dots, which went away after a few days of not using the product. again too oily for me. On my neck it's great. Ended up going back to Dr. H |

I got this as a sample and used it while I was in Vegas. It was really thick but didn't make my face shiny and yet kept my skin moisturized.
Can't wait to try this. |

I prefer Eminence. I'm currently using Eminence's Persimmon & Cantaloupe Day Cream with SPF 32. It's a thick cream that applies smoothly to your face. It dries pretty quickly and never gives me that oily shine. |

Not sure, beauty mask. My only remark would be: SPF 16 is great for cloudy days but SPF 32 for sunnier days. Based on that, I would pick SPF 32 but that's because I get lazy and don't put on sunscreen religiously. |

I am a huge fan of Juice Beauty's Nutrient Moisturizer! My face tends to get really dry and this moisturizer has really helped to hydrate my skin! I love how nourishing it is without leaving my face feeling greasy! It works wonders and my skin has never felt better! |

My new skin products are juice beauty nutrient moisturiser and a diy vit c serum.
Juice beauty - i felt a burning sensation and it seemed to absorb but felt dry. however it seems to be more moisturise than my shikai 24
DIY vit c - i thinks the glycerin makes my skin more supple and soft.
My skin seems more moisturised, however a week after i noticed my cheeks pores were clogged. i suspect it was the jbnm as glycerin is not comedogenic
i will be switching back to my shikai moisturiser and vit c to see. |
