I know the subject of stem cells has been covered but my question about Neocutis isn't about the PSP.

The "polypeptides" in Neocutis, are they copper peptides or just peptides? I have been wondering this peptide question for months now. There are so many peptides out there!

Here are the ingredients in the Bio Serum:

Water (Aqua), Glycerin, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Hydroxyethyl Acrylate/Sodium Acryloyldimethyl Taurate Copolymer, Pullulan, Squalane, Aminopropyl Ascorbyl Phosphate, Butylene Glycol, Sodium Hyaluronate, Acetyl Glucosamine, Arginine, Proline, Glycine, Glutamine, Processed Skin Proteins (PSP®), Trifluoracetyl Tripeptide-2, Algae Extract, Polysorbate 60, Dextran, Ethylhexylglycerin, Disodium EDTA, Sodium Hydroxide, Chlorphenesin, Ethylene/Acrylic Acid Copolymer, Phenoxyethanol.

LauraLizzie - I actually have a bottle of Neocutis Bio Serum sitting here on my dresser. I looked on the box and on the "package insert" inside and nowhere at all does it mention copper peptides. So based on that, I'd say "just peptides."

Aside: When I went to the dermatologist two months ago in obvious desperation, she convinced me that this was the best thing out there. Almost $200 for one ounce! Shock I realized later that she was just a salesperson and I fell for it, hook, line and sinker. Honestly, my skin does look much better than it did two months ago, but I'm also now using Retin-A, Vit C and LED light, so I can't give all of the credit to Neocutis. There are too many other (less expensive) things out there that I want to try, so I won't be buying it again anytime soon.

I don't believe they are copper peptides, but they have something to do with building or preserving elastin. The Neocutis products seem to be very popular with the medspa's.

We met with the rep yesterday and I didn't want to ask this stupid question. Thank you so much!

Even with my ability to buy at cost, I think I still can't justify the serum. Maybe the day cream with SPF.
