I picked up black and green's orgainc 85% chocoalte bar at the store w/ almond milk.
1/2 Chocolate bar
1 cup almond milk-add more if you need depends on the consistancy you want...
and a spoon full of ground cinnamon and maybe a pinch of white sugar.
Heat below 116 degrees so you dont kill any of the raw antioxidents
first I add the chocolate in a small pot over the stove top (heated on level 4) waited it to melt a few minutes, moved the pot to a non heated top and added almond milk and a bit of white sugar, put it back on the heated top turning it down to almost a 3 while stringing it.
When it was warm enough for me I pored it into a mug and took a spoon full of ground cinnimon and poured and strided it in.
Yum! Annnd I was thinking that if you wanted to add coffee for a morning drink it'd be great!!!haha
Because I do know it is summer and hot chocolate isn't really fitting buuut as a morning drink (with added coffee if you want) this really hits the spot and it is healthy .
Just a weird side note you know what else is delish? Whole coffee beans dipped in dark chocolate that has crushed almonds or taffee in it... its reallllly good although I used store bought dark cooking chocolate for that.
I really love to cook I think I enjoyed writing this so I will do another..but this time witha more summer approparate item but keep in mind that I never actually measure when I cook I just go from visual I guess.
Stuffed pan fryed chicken:
1 package chicken breast
pack of italian chesses(mozzerella mostly)
pack of parmasan
1 tomato
maynoaise
2 lemons
califonia garlic seasoning
olive oil
peperika powder
black pepper
Heat oil in a larg pan over the oven on a high medium
take chicken breast, turn to side and cut a medium sized slit makeing sure you don't cut all the way through,if you do its fine but the cheese might come out a little more while cooking,
Put the itialan chesses in the open slit, might wanna sqeeze it shut for a minute
you could do this before or after adding the cheese-cut half a lemon and sqeeze over both sides of chicken...but not too much
(I keep the chicken on a cutting bord when I do all this)
Add a quick spinkle of the garlic seasoning over both sides of chicken and rubb all over.
Oil should be hot by now, test out by dipping a courner of the chicken in,I like to lower the heat to medium right before I put the chicken in.
Place chicken in,add just a tad more garlic seasoning to both sides as you flip(I used tongs)
also add a little pepper to the breast and feel free to add however much peperrika you want..I like to add just a little but making sure to get all the surface area!
I'd say 4-5 minutes on each side genrally I turn the heat up again, this gives you really juicy chicken...if theres a thicker end of the chicken breast that wont cook after the rest of the chickens done I cut a small part of the end off-take the prongs and put the raw part against the pan with some presure for a bout a minute and a half.(happened to me last time ha)
While chicken is cooking first clean cutting bord and slice tommato into thin round pieces and shove aside.
Then take a bowl, put around..3 spoonfulls of mayonase in the bowl and speeze half a lemon add pepper and maybe a little thyme then whipp.
The consitancy should be more like a sausce.
Chicken should be done and placed on plates when you add tomatos on top of the chicken and then drizzle the lemon sause in a zig zaf pattern over the chicken, dont over add the sause there should be a whole lot on the chicken but you can put some aside on the table incase you want some more.
Finally sprinkle some parmasan over it all(lightly)
You will probably have 1 extra lemon too...
Serve with brocolli if you want so yummy!!!
Red pepper asperigus pork bites:
bundle of small sized aperigus
1 tomato
1 red pepper
butter
pepper
paperika
boneless pork chops
italian chesses
salt
Heat over to 400,or broil!
take glass pan and rub down the bottom and edges with butter
seperate glass pan add asperigus and olive oil and pepper and salt maybe some gralic
for the pan with th butter:
cut porkchopes into triangles,meduim size
Make small slivers in preferibally the sides of the pork but you can do the top
Stuff them with cheeses and add seasoning
put in pan
Chop up red pepper into small cubes and place in pan with pork and tomato cubes added is optional.
Let cook occasionally turn pork if you need to,do it at least once
it cooks for about 15 minutes, and the pork will look really white but Its not raw
take pork out when done and put on plate, then imedately turn over onto high broil and place asperigus in over for 3-4-5 minutes they should be all sqishy but not burned.
Then when asperigus is done Tie it the best you can arond the trigangles
I had to curl them around the pork and set the meat on the ends of the asperigus to hold it down makeing it just looked tied on..haha
Add to sperate plates and add peppers over pork and asperigus.
bst served with corn and black beans
BTW I"M SORRY FOR MY SPELLING! HAHA
but...
enjoy |
