Hi
i have used rosehip oil in the past but it seemed to make my face look and feel drier same goes for other oils if used alone.
However if it is part of a moisturiser , it seems to be ok.
anyone has that experience? |

Hi Salome,
Some oils definitely do better for my skin than others. For me, olive oil makes my skin itchy and dry. But other oils like avocado and wheat germ work great. It is all about trial and error I think. |

Indeed. There are some oils that seem to dry the skin.
BUT ,when i covered my whole face with olive oil for 4 days in a row,i began to see some weird
hard pimples.
For me this could mean 2 things.
a)either evoo made an enviroment that could promote toxins build up.
b)or that evoo detoxified preexisting toxins in my body.
In any case ,using evoo in the whole face had some change, negative or positive. |

Ehh
but for me its oils seem to dry my skin so does it mean i am better off sticking to a moisturiser with all the oils in it?
because oil alone on my face seem to dry me out. |

Oils alone do not moisturize. You need to apply to damp skin. |
