Or, a website who has the best prices on perfumes? I am in experimenting mode - as the fall approaches (I HATE to even say that - summer goes by too fast )I want to try a new scent - I do love vanilla-ish type fragrances - last winter I went through an Armani stage -
Mania (love) and Code (very much like)
Any good sites to recommend so I can try b/f I buy?

If you're willing to spend a little money, I know that luckyscent.com offers samples of almost all there perfumes, and they have a lot! Prices range from $3-8 per sample, depending on the price of the actual perfume. And while that's not a "bargain" in some respects (as it is when you just get free samples for a purchase), this way you get to pick out *exactly* what you want: http://www.luckyscent.com/samples.asp
Also, you might try searching for lots of samples on ebay. Sometimes people unload all their samples at once, and you might be able to get a deal that way. |

If you are interested in dupes at all Pittsburgh Street Soapworks sell samples sizes of perfumes, they are your average sample size vials with a spray.
I've ordered several times over the past few years and have been happy with my purchases.

Okay, an update on theperfumedcourt.com. I got my samples in like two days - in a little organza drawstring bag - so right off the bat awesome customer service.
I am also sooooo glad I got samples, b/c I think I've managed to satisfy most of my lemmings with the exception of perhaps the Serge Lutens Un Boise Vanille - I love the scent - a grown up vanill-ish type - but for whatever reason - there is no lasting power. I don't want to spend $$$$$ for a scent that doesn't at least linger!
For some reason, they did not include my Guerlain Sample and at the last minute they were kind enough to throw in a Laura Tonatto samples I was wanting - so I am expecting a couple of more samples.
If I don't fall in love - I might just take GirlieGirl's advice and purchase the Serge Lutens dupe from them for a lot less money. (Thanks GirlieGirl - I've heard very good things about this company.)
But here's a HUGE rave to the excellent customer service at the perfumedcourt - helpful, prompt, great site - highly recommend!

I gotta say, so far I'm not terribly impressed by theperfumedcourt.com. I placed my order nearly 2 weeks ago and am still waiting on half the samples I ordered. It really surprises me because of the rave reviews they've received.
What's really bizarre is that the package that I received first is the package that shipped second. I'm still waiting on the first package that shipped. I know that lies more with the USPS than the website, but I think that's really weird. |

They had a major promotion event for whole July and part of August and I guess they had more orders than ever expected - few days ago there was an info on the web site about delayed shipping and out of stock items. |

I just bought the perfume sampler at Sephora for $50 - comes with a half dozen types of perfumes (deluxe size) and then you can turn in a coupon to get a free full size of the one you like the most. Good steal! |
