So my skin is very dry all the sudden and I'm trying to figure out why. The supplements I take are MSM, green vibrance(green powder), vitamin c, astaxanthin, chlorella, hyaluronic acid, and collagen. I eat very healthy and organic. Drink plenty of water. I take alot of flax seed and olive oil. I don't really mosturize but it has never been an issue. The only thing I can think of besides that is that I have a filter on my shower head that's due to be changed. Any help would be great. Thsnks |

I went through the same thing last year. You don't say how old you are, so this may not be applicable. For me, I suspect the change in my skin was hormonal. It got more sensitive and extremely dry and dehydrated.
I started using oils on my skin over top of my moisturizers. I know that some people are against using Emu oil; however, for me, it really healed my skin. I also used Tamanu oil on any scaly spots. Between that and switching to natural skincare lines, it made a huge difference.
I also made sure I took the Essential Fatty Acid supplements and Evening Primrose oil helped some with the hormone fluctuations.
Good luck. It is a challenge when your skin changes. |

I am by no means an expert, but I wonder if your skin is changing now that you are out of your teens when hormones tend to go crazy. I've watched my daughters skin (she is 14) go from oily, to normal to combination.
If you aren't wearing any moisturizer, I think you should give it a try. My daughter has had a lot of luck with the Bellaboo skincare line. It isn't expensive and the quality is really good. My husband also likes the cleanser and moisturizer. It doesn't make his skin oily and soaks in quickly. |

intresting. I never thought of that. I guess I will try to mosturize more. I was just wondering if any of the products I use can dry out skin too. In particular I noticed quite a change after taking green vibrance with basically has all the greens, wheat grass, barley grass, spirulina, thank you also |

I think moisturizing is very important, regardless of your skin type - as long as you have one that suits your skin's needs. My husband has extremely oily skin and he used the Bellaboo. Because it is geared towards teenage skin, it doesn't make skin oily. What I like about it is that is natural. |
