I have been doing the Takana massage without a break for about a month and a half now, I decided to stop massaging a week ago and I noticed an incredible toned, lifted and tighter skin.

Was it because I gave my skin a break to regenerate and tone back like when you excersice your whole body or it's because Tanaka was making my face saggy?

A bit confused here. What exactly happened?

Thank You!

I'm curious to hear what people have to say too.

I find that using my skincare products, and manually exfoliating less often results in happier skin. I feel like I was just tiring it out keeping it on an endless treadmill!

How often were you doing the massage?

I've heard such conflicting opinions on tanaka. This should be an interesting conversation. There's always different factors. Everyone uses different pressure, does it less often, etc.

I think my skin has gotten better since I started the routine. I do the tanaka massage while I'm cleansing with my ocm. At least once a day, sometimes twice. Been at it for a while now. This combo really helps remove everything that's stuck in my pores. So when I'm doing it, I've got a lot more lubrication than someone just using a cream or gel. That may have something to do with it.

There's always the chance that it might just be a temporary lifting effect and it's not really helping long term. Perhaps I could quit for a few days and see if there's any change. Just as an experiment.

I have been doing it for a month and a half along with other exercises and stopped for a week and my skin seemed to look much better, younger, healthier and happier.

Not sure if you have to rest for a few days after Tanaka to see real results?

Yes, but how often were you doing them? Once or twice a day, every other day?

And if you were doing other exercises too, maybe that could have resulted in a bit of overload.
