Did anyone see the comment in Nancy's newsletter about her NOT coming out with her microcurrent machine. I find it odd that a little over a week ago she wrote to Lucyluc to tell her that the email she received from Nancy's people was wrong and she was still coming out with a machine.

From Nancy's newsletter
Microcurrent Update.....

I'm really sorry to tell you that the microcurrent machine that I've been so excited about is definitely not going to happen. I am so sorry about this! After all of the effort put into the development of it, my specifications were not met by the manufacturer. I'm very disappointed to have to give you this news. For those of you who hung in there waiting for it, I am truly sorry!

lucyluc wrote:
I emailed them a question about the microcurrent machine and ncn said it is not coming out with a machine... The problem w the pico toner is that i cant really find any reviews on it,maybe its too new. There are lots of reviews for the Nuface.

I was contacted by Nanci that she is looking into getting a microcurrent machine and she wanted to know about the email that was sent to me sayingshe is not coming out with one because she is inundated w emails because of what I said.So shes still trying to come out w one and she is going to try to figure out why wires were crossed and the misunderstanding w the email I was sent.

Thanks for the update Cookie.. I'm sorry & disappointed too.

In the mean time, I'm just not ready to shell out $600 (or more) for Pico and other high end devices, so I've opted to order this poor girl/guy device for the he!! of it..lol

http://www.intelligentskinsense.com/video/flash_encoding/ISS_video.html

It's been out since 2009, but sadly, I can't find any reviews on it.. BUT, for $150, I feel it's worth a try.. Also, it looks perfect for travel which is very appealing to me.

Thanks again for sharing the "NCN" update. xox

ETA: Ordered mine Mon from amazon.com and should receive it Friday. $150/total.

I just got the email. Too bad. It would have been cool to see what she would have come up with.

Kassy, please let us know how the device works for you.

I have a facemaster and a Connie Stevens Time Machine that I use, but I wish I could get a professional machine for home use. But prices being what they are, that's not going to happen any time soon.

Hi Kassy, long time no see. I have seen that microcurrent machine listed somewhere before. Please let us know what you think about it after you use it for a while. I think it is great that everyone on EDS is trying out different machines. It will give the members a lot of different ones to chose from. I know I could really use something that I could travel with. I have the Beautiful Image machine but have not been able to use it lately because my travel schedule is nuts right now and it is definitely not travel friendly. Good luck. Smile

I'll definitely let you guys know how (if) it works out. I'm not expecting any miracles, but I'm more than happy with just enjoying any increased circulation it might bring.. If it happens to actually "lift" anything, I'll be shouting it loud and clear.. Laughing I'll take some pictures before I use it and compare monthly.

Supposedly it comes with an 8oz bottle of serum designed to be used with it. I'll post the ingredients if they look beneficial for microcurrent treatments..

i am sure there are some other reason/s behind it other than that the manufacturer could not meet her specifications... but now my only hope for MC is pico, i hope there are good reviews by many of the eds members who just bought it and who are not using or have not recently used a professional units so the benefits could be attributed to pico without a doubt....

Hiya
I too was eager to see what Nancy came up with, but she did say along the way there were issues, and she wanted it to be perfect (to her specs) so I guess it just didn't work. Darn. I am eager for a gadget that would fill the place of this. WE need the VOID filled (tear stained face, lol). Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad
Still debating NuFace Trinity. Ready to put crazy glue on my saggy legs and eyelids to pull the skin up. (JUST KIDDING, would never do that).
Have a good evening everyone.

Kassy! I wrote a review about this device a couple of weeks ago in this thread:
''Another at home microcurrent device: Electrolast''
I also asked if anyone here has used it too but nobody replied! I loved it, really! Sad news: it felt from the kitchen table and after this it didn't work anymore:( I'm thinking about buying a new one, but it does cost a lot of money (even though it's much cheaper than the Pico Toner). So i haven't made a choice yet. I'll look forward to your review and to hear if your results are as positive as mine (don't expect immediate results or a real face lift)

TheresaMary- Nancy said in her newsletter she is not coming out with a microcurrent machine. You can see the quote on the first post of this thread.

Thanks Cookie I saw that, but you say:

"I find it odd that a little over a week ago she wrote to Lucyluc to tell her that the email she received from Nancy's people was wrong and she was still coming out with a machine. "

So this suggests that the email was either wrong or incorrect? Just wondering if there was an official response?

Sorry TheresaMary I misunderstood you. Here is an email I received from Nanci after this thread was started. You would have to ask Lucyluc for her exact email to Nanci.

Nanci wrote
Hi CookieD - I just got my new (and last) version of the microcurrent last Friday night (3/29). So I didn't know that I wasn't going to be able to offer it until this past Saturday (3/30) - and I knew right away. The email below is what was sent to Lucyluc, it's the email that she wrote about on EDS saying that we told her we were not coming out with the machine. You will be able to see that we never told her we weren't coming out with it.

'We do not have an ETA for you. We are not sure why someone on EDS would say it’s coming out soon, as we have never said that to anyone.'

Clearly a misunderstanding. I hope this clears things up. Thanks! Nanci

Thanks Cookie for Nanci's response. It makes it clear to me. I get her newsletters and figured the specs just didn't show up to her standards.

I bought the little "Electrolast" as stated above, and although I like it, it is really best designed as a traveling device. It's especially effective (for me) in the eye area, and I do see a nice little lift to my brows.

In my search for trying to have it all in one (cheap) purchase, I just ordered this device last night off ebay;

http://www.ebay.com/itm/MICROCURRENT-ULTRASOUND-FACIAL-TONING-LIFTING-MACHINE-/220817195412?pt=US_Skin_Care&hash=item3369bb0194

I just couldn't resist wands, probes, gloves and ultrasound cozily packed together for $219. USD.

Sadly, I don't see any "specs" in the product description, but once I get it if it isn't up to par I can send it back. It does look fairly decent to me though, so I have my fingers crossed.

As much as I'm interested in the Pico Toner, I just cannot justify (in my head) $600 for the gloves alone.

@*Rupert* my darling Wink xoxox

ETA: I came up with a new DIY conductive gel that my feedback suggests is effective with MC, US + RF, so if anybody is interested please suggest where I should post it. (Note; I've only used it with MC and my skin spatula personally.)

Hi everyone from Mexico:

I received a hugely generous e-mail from Nanci saying that her MC machine availability never happened. Instead, and caring about my interest on her MC device, Nanci suggests me the PICO Toner that everyone is talking about (I indeed have read the EDS thread without having a Pico).

Let me tell you: that it is great customer service from her.

In my opinion, it is an excellent device.
