So am going to start using obagi nu derm treatment for hyperpigmentation on my face and I am dreading the effects of it. All the redness, peeling etc. My main worry is that am going to have to go to work with my face looking horrible.
Am also not very good with make up (I can hardly put foundation on properly!).
If anyone can give me some good tips on what type of make up I can use for cover up it will be very helpful. Like what kind and brand of foundation and concealer etc.
I will also like to hear what your experience with obagi was like and if you are currently receiving the treatment how it is going for you ! thanks in advance |

Hi Setton and welcome!
Personally, I preferred a baked foundation or mineral powder to liquid.
They helped to conceal the redness but it's hard to cover flaking with any foundation. I found most of my flaking was around the mouth and it was worse later in the day. When it got really obvious, I'd very gently remove the worst with my finger but be careful not to rub and make it red and sore.
Overall, I didn't have too much of a problem and I work with people every day and no one gave me funny looks or asked questions. Perhaps they were too polite!
Anyway, the results were totally worth it.
Good luck! |
