SO, this company called Neocell makes a liquid Hyaluronic Acid Supplement you take orally, as well as collagen tablet, they are Hydrolyzed so the body can absorb them. I read alot of reviews online and they have been overwhelmingly positive, hardly (if any) negative reviews. I was wondering if anyone has tried them, but more importantly do supplements like this work? (At All?) |

How long were you using it to say that it did not do anything for you? And why are you taking it?

Thanks SalomeB Actually I asked the same question to a friend of mine because she is taking it "orally"... She said that it is helping her "internally" and to beautify her skin, but I don't see it helping her, that is why I asked the question too....

that depends on the brand too. also skin of which body parts? because sometimes it helps the skin on other parts of your body but face. i read collagen is best injected by a doctor instead of orally as it 'goes to waste' instead of absorbing. |

I haven't been taking a liquid version, but I have been taking Source Naturals Hyaluronic Acid tablets for about a month and a half, after reading someone who said that Retin-A ruined their skin, but then these supplements were a big part of the reason they got their skin back to normal, even better. I have had no negative effects with Retin-A (love the stuff, actually), but I thought "doesn't hurt to help!" and bought some. I'm now on my second bottle, and as of right now, I haven't noticed any change whatsoever, negative or positive. Actually, I'm breaking out a tiny bit for the first time in about 5 years and nothing else in my routine has changed, come to think of it.. |

I take Neocell Collagen +C Type 1&3 supplements, and noticed a change right away. My hair became thicker and began to grow more and my skin became tighter. I've been using it for about a year now.It is one of my favorite anti-aging supplements. I can tell when I stop using it. |

I have seen plumbing when taken in large doses, but I just take one a day now. I don't see visible or remarkable differences from that. |

Skin eternal hyaluronic acid helps me - been taking it for a few years. Plumps lips and helps the hydration of the skin. Also my knees scream if I stop. That's the big tell all - it definitely lubricates.
You must take at least two capsules a day. If you want to get to maximum results - take four. |

I take four a day and if anything, I've been noticing that I've been SHEDDING hair like crazy. I'm not blaming it on the pills at all, but it definitely hasn't done anything to help, nor have they done anything to help with dryness. I'm on my third bottle now and will keep giving them a shot since I know internal medicine takes time- I'll give it another bottle or two or three since it isn't expensive and doesn't seem to be causing much damage. After that, though, if I still haven't noticed anything, I'm going to stop, and see if I notice any changes (good or bad) then, and report back to you lovely ladies. |

Hello - Is it the HA that you are taking that is causing the hair shedding? If/when you stop can you let us know if that helps the shedding? I've never heard of that side effect before.
Thanks. |

I've been taking neocell collagen (powdered) for more than a year now.
I like it. Like sister sweets, I can't say I've noticed any positive improvements in my appearance, but I have noticed positive improvements in my general health (joints, less insomnia). I will continue taking it, though I firmly believe you could get the same (actually better) results with a good cup or two of bone broth. I just don't have the time to make broth everyday. |
