you have to be careful buying these products from Ebay.
I check the last one that you posted (MICROCURRENT FACE LIFT MACHINE SALON SKIN TONING BIO New beauty device TTAC)
It's shipped from China.
What happen if the product is not working and doesn't meet your expectations?
Too much hassle and very expensive to ship it back. Besides there is no after customer service.
You are right, there is not email respond at all.
If you want to risk $400, go ahead. |

I'd also like to find a quality micro-current machine as well. The Beautiful Image one sounds great, but too pricy. Is there any other model that others have used and would recommend? |

I just received the Serious Skin Care Micro-Current machine and I have to say that I am really impressed.
I also have the Isomers Nutritone and Suzanne Somers FaceMaster. This SSC Micro-Current is really impressive...that thing is surprisingly powerful and I love that it's two units so you can do both sides of the face at once. There is a nice range of intensity...definitely start low first. |

If you don't wish to spend thousands of dollars on a microcurrent machine - Ebay is about the only option.
So far, I've purchased two "salon" type machines - and have been perfectly satisfied with both of them. I also have this model:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/120761012569?ssPageName=STRK:MESINDXX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1436.l2649 and whilst I think it works perfectly well, it can't be compared to the larger models which have separate probes.
The latest model I purchased has the bio-feedback (whatever that is) and I'm not sure whether that means square wave or not. I think it's supposed to automatically respond to feedback from the body and is self adjusting.
I have seen the latest model I purchased from Ebay listed on other websites selling salon equipment for three times the price that I paid on Ebay - so, IMO, Ebay is the best place to buy. But then I buy allot of stuff on Ebay (including cameras and other electronic equipment) and have never had a problem. |

Shopping on ebay - my advice is to always use a top-rated seller, with very good feedback. If someone has thousands of satisfied customers, you can generally feel pretty safe. It's always worked for me! I've been ripped off on ebay once, and it was a new seller, with no feedback. |

You guys are the best!
Thank you, for all your responses, it is much appreciated.
I did not know about the Serious Skin Care Micro-Current machine, and will check that one out. I heard here, on EDS, that NCN is coming out with one, but I don't know the price or anything about that new unit yet. I will wait to learn about this one before making any decision
Yes, I am somewhat apprehensive about purchasing a unit on eBay. That is why I asked about the eBay units, it was to see if anyone had purchased any of them and how they were liked, and if any issues had arisen.
I will definitely look at feedback. Actually, I looked at the feedback for one of the units, and although the feedback was very high, the auctions were listed as "private" which prevented me from knowing what was actually purchased. I understand, to a degree, private auctions, but if it does not give information to a potential buyer, why have it?
Anyway, thank you, all! I totally appreciate you taking the time out of your busy schedules to comment, it helped me a lot |

JenJ Are you still using the SSC Micro-Current machine? If so, of the three machines you mentioned, which do you think is the most effective? I saw Suzanne Sommers on ShopNBC today and am considering purchasing her machine because she said it was effective in lifting the face, with those sunken hollows around the eyes and with downturned lips that make us look like we are mad, all of which I'd like to improve. So I'd love to hear from you on your opinion of effectiveness. Thanks! |
