Hi does anyone know where i can buy retin-a in the uk preferably 0.25% or 0.5%.I have used the allday chemist one many times over as i wanted to give it a chance but i didn't find it to be very effective.Ive also bought a tube from ebay uk sellers but its just the same one from allday chemist . .Would be grateful of your thoughts.x |

A few years ago I had a tube of this (Retinova)- I bought it from a surgeon who ran a private practice. Don't think you can get it generally, like lots of things these days. (I recently tried to buy a bottle of iodine from Boots - don't sell it now - health and safety as usual - will have to buy it online.) |

Some derms still sell it, but nowadays with the law etc not all are wanting to face legal battles with people misusing it. It is after all a medication that can have side effects if not used properly. Instead though you could opt for something like Environ - that's readily available in the UK, and some have said its better than Retin A. |
