Hey everyone,
So I used a 30% chemical peel and I sort of burned myself (nothing too crazy though just red). Anyways, the texture of my forehead is sort of different .. little bumps, somewhat orange peely, and red. I was wondering if this was permanent? if it would resolve itself? I've just been applying vaseline.
Is there anything I can do to help the healing process? Also, I'm a black female with light brown skin. Thanks. |

I did exactly the same thing a few weeks ago. It happened after less than 5 mins.
I applied Paraderm plus cream (antiseptic and numbing) and Dermaid cream (cortisone) for the initial pain and inflamation.
It settled back to normal after about one week.
I'm sticking to 10% glycolic peels now and Vit C peels.
Good luck! |

I find the NeoCutis Biogel works great for minor burns and skin irritation. I am using it every 2 hours after my SkinPen treatment.
Hopefully you will be healed in 3 days or so. Just be kind to your skin for the next few weeks! |
