Here's a new progesterone question...can I make my own progesterone cream from 200mg capsules of prometrium and Cerave cream? What do you all think?
I'd rather make it myself than buy it anymore if I can get away with it. |

Hi bullet,
Have you considered such topical progesterone creams as Emerita Pro-Gest and Life Flo brands ? Those are two brands I have read are reliable and sold on i-Herb and other sites.

Yes, I have. I just thought that since I have extra prometrium left over at the end of the month that I could use it to make my own cream. |

Personally, I find Prometrium expensive, so if it were me, I would keep my extra capsules and use them for the following month (and just order less on the prescription over time).
Emerita is cheap compared to Prometrium.

I only pay $3,00 fro a three month supply through my insurance. Since I put Cerave over the progesterone cream (dry skin due to Retin-A)I thought I could kill 2 birds with one stone...lol |
