I was heartbroken when Aromaleigh went out of business. But then I came on EDS and someone recommended Raesin Images mineral makeup, which I've been using ever since and actually like even better than Aromaleigh. I just placed an order w/Raesin and received an email letting me know that they have been sold! Crying or Very sad Thankfully I'll still be able to get my last order to tide me over until I can figure out what else I can use.
I asked Rae if she could share who bought them, to see if her products will still be available but sold by someone else. I'm waiting to hear back, and will respond here when I find out.
But in the meantime, assuming that I have to find another mineral makeup, what do you guys recommend? I looked into Jane Iredale briefly, but couldn't find a good match, and samples are not available, and they are SO EXPENSIVE!! Especially compared to Raesin Images.

Holy cow, I had no idea Aromaleigh was back!! I just assumed that when they went out of business they were gone for good. I just checked out their site and see that they even brought Pure Cover back! Now I almost wish that I hadn't purchased so much back stock of Raesin. I wonder if the quality of Aromaleigh has gotten better. I actually still have some of the old product which I use on occasion, and it has bits of white pigment in it, and sometimes even little streaks of black. The coverage also isn't nearly as good as Raesin.
Guess I'll order up some samples when I start getting towards the end of my Raesin stockpile.

I'm so relieved! Very Happy

I also recommend Meow Cosmetics.

I tried to go back to Aromaleigh, but they lost their market niche for me. I wear a unique shade and Aromaleigh used to offer a wide range (along with the aforementioned drama Laughing ) - but they've dropped some of those less common shades and I don't want to mix my own - that's what I was paying them to do Bad Grin

Meow now carries a shade that works well for me (and no drama!)

I had no idea Raesin Images was sold...yikes! Did you ever hear back from Rae about if the same products would still be available?

I just got ready to stock up and well found this site with the bad news. Thought I could do a search on who bought the company; usually that is public. I just hope whoever does keeps the formulas the same. I'm totally out and I have yet to use any other product that compares to Resurface X-Treme; it was the only thing I used on my face; never needed any foundation. This sucks and I truly wish that Kat would of emailed her long time customers. I've been using for 10 years, since they started. It's ashame that we were not notified. I would have bought 10 years supply.
