I had a bothersome skin tag just at the corner of my left nostril. It didn't bother me when it was small because it was easily covered by makeup but it got bigger. I was not looking forward to paying for a dermatologist visit, so I decided to try to treat it at home. A Google search revealed that TCA is something that doctors use for removing skin tags and warts, so I ordered a bottle from Amazon. I got 50% strength.
I put it on once, 2 layers and it burned like fire! I toughed it out though and after 3 minutes it was fine and I splashed cold water over it. Over the next 2 weeks I had an unsightly scab, but this just fell off yesterday, revealing smooth skin, without no bump! I would have paid hundreds at the dermatologist, so I'm completely thrilled. Victory! LOL |

Sound like a good result, sorry about the scab...
I have removed my tag on the neck using Lugol's iodine. I don't remember if I put it several times, I remember that it completely dried and ended up black so I just removed it. There was a tiny red dot that was there for a day and then it disappeared...
It was quite fast and just sting a bit immediately when I put it... |

Too late to correct but I noticed I said "without no bump" - my mother, a former English teacher, no doubt turned in her grave! LOL |

Glad this worked for you. 50% TCA is extremely strong. I would not do more than a tiny spot with 50%. If others are considering this, please read up on it first. |

Thanks, I should have posted a warning. I used 20% full face and it was scary strong! I read somewhere that dermatologists used 50% and above for warts and skin tags, so that's what I purchased. I would never use it full face! |

Hi, I would like to try TCA for sunspots on my legs and melasma on my face. Can anyone recommend a reputable source for 8 or 10% TCA? I heard horror stories of too strong peels (higher % than what was on the label). |
