Question re: Jan Marini's Cleansers r/o

Wondering if the following cleansers foam or lather:

Bioclean (non-glycolic)
Bioglycolic Oily Skin Cleansing Gel

any info is appreciated!

Hi Lucy, I have a dumb question but what is the difference between foam and lather? I use the Bioglycolic Oily Skin Cleansing Gel and it is a deep cleanser. I guess it foams. It is not like a Cetaphil type product, more of a "let's get that embedded stuff out of those pores" kind of cleanser. I have not tried the Bioclean, but I have a feeling it has the same kind of feel minus the acid. I just ordered the Bioglycolic Facial Cleanser to switch on and off with the Bioglycolic Oily Skin Cleansing Gel. I should be receiving it any day now. I'll let you know how it is if no one else answers your question first. joani

Thanks for the info. I don't really know the diff. between foam and lather either LOL! I've had cleansers that sort of get a bit creamy as you work it in your skin with the water, so I'll call that a lather. When I think foam, I think lots of bubbles and very drying.

Do you like the cleanser for oily skin? I want to try it, but I don't want it to dry me out. I have combo. skin, but it gets easily congested which is why I want to try something with an AHA.

I would love to hear how you like the Bioclean too. Thanks!

I have no idea about the two cleansers but I'll have a go at the "foam vs lather" riddle Smile

To me, foam is the fluffy stuff that you get when you use a bubble bath whereas lather is the whitish stuff you get on your skin from some soaps (even though they don't foam). So if you use a cleanser and it foams up then you do see little bubbles. If it lathers then there are no bubbles but it looks whitish on your skin (like say the YonKa Gel Nettoyant from memory). Well, that's my take on it although for all I know I could be *way* off Laughing
