Hi Everyone,
I got my first EDS order a couple of weeks ago and couldn't be happier
But I just need a bit of reassurance as I'm going through the whole purging/reaction stage of my new skincare line and while I KNOW it will get better, I just need someone else to say it?
I'm using MD Forte leverl 2 glycolic cleanser 2 times a day + MD Formulations night rejuvination at night. During the day I use my rose hip oil+green tea moisturiser.
Once a week I have been used Dr H rejuvination mask.
So far my pores have gotten smaller but parts of my skin are really dry while others have broken out with little bumps. BUT I do think my skin is taking on a more even tone.
So far I've been doing this for just on a week and a half and normally give new products at least a month to 'do their thing' but can someone just please reassure me that it will happen? I feel very silly for asking this but . . . |

Hi!
This happened to me when I started on a glycolic regime, don't stress it will improve, you probably have dry areas as you've gone to level 2 straight off (I'm guessing you didn't start with level 1 which is normally recomended?)!! If you have dry areas try cutting down the use of the cleanser to once a day till your skin adjusts then gradually increase the frequency and perhaps use the night cream every other day until your skins settles. Usually with glycolics you start on a low % then add each product in gradually, then once your ok on that you increase the % if you need too.
PM me if you need to chat - I am a glycolic fan and have used it for several years now (started on MD Formulations now on MD Forte Level 2), what I can tell you is I found it worth the effort, it's the only thing that cleared my skin properly! |

I'm with Lucia. I have used glycolic acid products with great success when I needed to get rid of bumps. If I were you I would cut down the cleanser to just once a day for a while and then work your way up. |
