Hi there, my vacation is coming up and it's a 3 week trip around the Southern States. It's been some years since I've been to the US, but I love to shop there and root through drugstores and malls for new skincare stuff.
Any of you ladies have any tips on what's new and exciting? I hardly wear make-up, only mineral powder, but I do love lotions, creams, balms, exfoliators etc.
I'd be grateful for suggestions!
Best regards,
Lyn |

Lynxette, find a Sephora! Or maybe you already have them where you are.
Aveda is fun but I never buy there, just get ideas. |

I can't really think of any skin care shops, but if you like cool, eclectic silver jewelry and get to Old Town Alexandria, Virginia, go down King Street almost to the water and check out The Silver Parrot. Unless it's changed since I was last there, it's an awesome, awesome store. I could squander the family fortune every time I go near there.
There are also a lot of excellent boutique shops down there that sell lotions and potions and whatnot. As a shopping destination, Old Town is worth a day (or maybe even two) browse. |

I would browse on the US sites such as drugstore.com; Ulta or Sephora for items not available in your country.
I am in Canada and I like to pickup items not available here. |
