I have used it on my uppers for over a year with some redness and brown staining, which didn't bother me since I had faded eyeliner tattoos anyway. Someone on this board said she used it on her lower lashes so I thought I'd try it even though you are warned not to. I can only assume she had dark circles and undereye skin to begin with because after about two months of doing this, while my lower lashes are darker and have grown a bit, but not as much as I'd hoped, I've noticed dark shadows in the inner corners of my lower lids. I only had very faint darkness before.

So I have just stopped the lower but will continue with the upper Careprost application. I hope that will solve the problem. If not I'd really hate to totally stop the lash serum because it's given me great results.

Remember to use only a small drop for both eyes, that's all you need. Plus, only use it once a day, preferably at night. And it does say not to use it on the lower lashes- you don't need to.

I use it on my upper eyelashes once a day and am happy with the results, but I wouldn't recommend using them on your lower lashes. I agree that you only need a small drop for both eyes and I have also been applying the rest to my eyebrows, and they now look thick and healthy and only need to use a bit of eyebrow liner.

I'll see if the darkness under my eyes goes away by Jan. 1. If not, I might go back to using it under my eyes for minimal growth. .
