I tried derma rolling with a .5mm roller and it really hurt like crazy. I'd really like to do something else to stimulate collagen production on my face and neck instead of rolling. I use Retin A .05 at night. Would Vitamin C serum work? I really do not want to continue with the roller and I can't use numbing cream due to an allergy to lidocaine. What other options would I have to help stimulate collagen production?
I appreciate any assistance! |

Ultrasound devices will stimulate collagen production and can be used for product penetration too. Check the "Tools" section. |

LED red light is meant to stimulate collagen. I can't say from personal experience that it works (I've only used my Aurora three times at this point), but I'm hopeful! |

I would recommend an ultrasound + galvanic device. |

I would suggest ultrasound and or the tria or reaura laser devices. |

What about something like the Reaura or Tria devices? |

Does reaura stimulate collagen? I just read mismis say that it thins skin, so something else is required to compensate for this..
I have lightstim and also STOP... oh yeh, I also have UP5...
I am not keen on dermarolling my face as I get cold sores. so not quite sure right now which is the best option.
I've been letting my skin rest all summer, and I'm just about to restart Reaura again now that the sun where I live is taking its hibernation time. |

Here's what it says on the Space.NK site:
Quote: |
During the treatment, thousands of microscopic laser beams pass down the epidermis and the dermis, triggering a natural process of cell renewal. Old and damaged skin cells are replaced with new, fresh skin cells containing more collagen. Repeated treatments boost the collagen network, making it denser, resulting in a smoother skin texture and the reduction of fine lines. At the same time, pigmented skin cells are pushed to the top layer of your skin to be exfoliated away, delivering a more even tone.
