I have been using my AlphaDerma on some of the sagging or potentially sagging areas of my body. Stomach, arms etc. JB also has DMAE firming fluid for firmness which is a product that I don't have, and I wasn't sure if that would be better to use on the body than the AlphaDerma or not. The AlphaDerma is expensive and I hate to use a rather large portion of it on the body as compared to the face, but I will if that is the best product for my body. Or if the DMAE is better for helping with firmness I can order it. All info would be appreciated.
And as long as we are on the subject, does anyone know what Galvanic Current is? It mentions it when used in conjunction with the DMAE for firmness. I tried to look it up but no luck so far. |

The DMAE Firming fluid is only one ounce. While a good product I don't think it spread like the AlphaDerma. A little AlphaDerma goes a long way. Please tell me what it is doing for your body? Believe it or not I have not tried it on my body yet (for firmness). I have applied it to my C Section scar and getting great results. |

I don't think that it is doing anything yet on my body. I haven't been using it there very long. Winnie, Winnie, You're right. I can't believe that you haven't tried it on your body. When I went back to it after my peeling incident that was one of the first things I thought of. I don't know if I am using enough of it there or not though. It seems to take so much AlphaDerma and never really feels like it has a lot of it. It seems to not always cover the area. Maybe if I put a toner or something on first, it would spread better and I would use less AD and do a better job of spreading it also. By the way do you think that I should use the AlphaDerma once a day or twice? |

I use the Janson-Beckett Elastin & Collagen Body Lotion (from spa items). I love the light scent - it doesn't linger to interfere with cologne or anything but it smells so nice & clean while you're putting it on. I've always used good body creams & was hesitant about a lotion but it's very hydrating and not at all greasy (like some creams are).
My newest experiment is using AlphaDerma Prep underneath. Then I want to try the E & C Lotion with the Oceana Seaplant (from spa items) because, if I understand right, it too can be helpful as a "prep". (I think I love to "play" )
I have used the Elastin & Collagen long enough to re-order many times and it has improved the appearance of my bod's skin - I don't know if it has tightened or what but it does look better. And I'm drinking lots of water.
Maybe you could try the Prep under the AlphaDermaCE? Good luck |

Galvanic or direct current as a skin treatment is supposed to inspire various benefits to the skin. In galvanic treatment, two probes are used - one positively charged, the other negatively charged. The positive and negative charges each encourage different results. I *think* that the positive charge will help acid-based treatment to better penetrate, while the negative charge will help alkaline-based solutions to more effectively penetrate. There are other benefits as well, each attributable to the introduction to the skin of either the positive or negative charge. I *think* that's it..Hopefully someone will provide us with additional info!
