My gym is renovating and added several of these booths. As I understand it, you stand in the booth for 12 minutes and are exposed to red light technology and also a vibration plate. Does anyone know anything about this? It sounds like a marvelous contraption to me!

Hmm never heard of it before. It's not a tanning booth is it? Confused

HI, I know vibration plates are currently getting a lot of good press.

It sounds like near infrared and visible (red?) wavelengths.

Forum member Freya has a post about using it; she reported the cost at $25 per month for unlimited use (although 3 treatments per week are recommended):

The deal that is offered by my old gym, a Planet Fitness franchise, is that the Beauty Angel is included free of charge with their Black label membership. This costs about $20 per month plus an initiation fee. You have to read the fine print carefully! Apparently, not all Planet Fitness franchises are equipped with this device, so you have to check at the location closest to you. It does sound like a great deal, but I have not signed up. I would be interested, though, because I use the AA LightStim on a daily basis, and I love it!

Just to clarify, I do not work for Planet Fitness. In fact, my husband has built a rather extensive gym in our house, so I do not need to go anywhere at all to work out!

I belong to Planet Fitness. I have a regular membership, not Black label. My gym doesn't have Beauty Angel. PHOOEY!

Does anyone have any results to share on this? A Planet Fitness is opening in my area on November 28th and I just signed up for the Black membership which includes the Beauty Angel. Unbelieveable how reasonable their membership is compared to my old gym which was charging me $63 a month for myself and my 18 year old daughter. At Planet Fitness it's $19.99 per month and they allow me to bring one guest each visit unlimited, can be the same person or different, doesn't matter which is great. Also unlimited tanning (yeah right! Lol), unlimited use of their massage chairs, free training and unlimited use of the Beauty Angel which I will take advantage of.
Anyway, I want to use a pre-treatment serum prior to the BA, was thinking a green tea serum due to experience with the Lightstim but also thought of a copper serum as well. Any thoughts on which one to use and any results anyone could share?

Hi, I love using Beauty Angel 5 days a week. I'm using it in hope of improving the cellulite on my thighs. No results yet. I guess I've been using it 3 months or so.

Have you noticed any skin changes besides the cellulite?
I figure it can't hurt to use it and for $20 a month it's a nice perk with the gym membership.

No, no changes in appearance. However, I just love using it. I look forward to it.

Hey, if I simply enjoy it too, it's worth it in my book.
Does it put off warmth of any kind? Because if it does, I'll love it just for that Laughing

I started using the Beauty Angel treatment I've only used it twice, hoping my pores health improves, I also tan so that's where I see the immediate result because it makes me glow lol.
But I hope the BA treatment works, I like the vibrating plate, warmth and its relaxing

I agree I love it! Cheapest Shrink there is makes you feel great and you don't even have to say a word - nothing like standing in that machine for 12 minutes after a rough day. It really is my de-stress of the day, the skin improvement is a bonus. I use the vibrating on the highest setting.

No planet fitness in my area but my local spa offers it $50 for 12 treatments - I try and go every 2nd day or whenever the boss makes me crazy Laughing
I am on treatment 28 - the machine broke and it took a week to repair it and I have not used it since as I went on vacation (3 weeks now)

My skin just does not look as radiant and feel as soft as it did while I used it faithfully - It took nearly 3 months for me to really notice a difference but I have been trying all the DIY potions I find on here and I contributed my skin improvement to that Smile

All in all I will gladly pay the $50 and keep going - it is worth it for me.

I used it at my Planet Fitness but no noticeable results although I'm sure it did 'something'. It is relaxing.

I thought it was a gimmick, but I got a handful of free treatments at my gym as a sort of introduction offer, I guess, and I can honestly say that it has helped the appearance of my stretch marks, which are very old (from growth spurt). Anyway, when I say helped, I just mean that: they've plumped up, so they look more at level with my skin rather than being indented in the skin. The scars themselves are still there, but it looks better.
I can't tell you if they'd improve further with more treatments. I am considering buying a months unlimited access though. Smile

The clarity of my body skin was also improved, but you'd probably need to use it continuesly to maintain that.
