I started facial exercises 4 months ago. About 1 1/2 months ago, I noticed an indentation had formed above my right eyebrow and extended halfway up my forehead. I know this wasn't there before I started facial exercises. I contacted the creator of the program and included before and after pics. She told me to continue on and it would eventually go away. It's now almost 2 months later and it's still there and a little deeper! Has anyone else experienced this before? |

For me, the area above my eyebrows are very easily over built, and I get what I call the klingon brow. I got the shock of my life when I went into the bank one day and saw my own face in black and white and saw the muscles above my eye brows actually cast a shadow. shudder.
I now avoid working out the area directly above my brows, and concentrate on the exercises that build the upper area near the hair line, and work on building the upper eye lid under the eye brow. |

OMG, I know what you mean! I saw a reflection of myself in a dimley lit dressing room and was horrified! The indentation/line on my forehead looked so much worse! I couldn't get out of the store fast enough!!
Which program are you doing? I agree with what you re saying but how do you get rid of your 11s if you don't work out that area? Just wondering which exercises I should avoid to stop it from getting deeper. Someone suggested that The right side of my forehead might be weaker than my left and that's what caused it! I don't know how to fix that, if that's the case! |

Wear medical grade tape across the dents every night, and massage twice a day when you wash your face. I am a flexeffect instructor, and honestly, everyone needs to tailor their facial exercise program to their own needs. Just like some people have areas of their hair and some nails that grow faster than others, stronger on one hand than the other, etc... they will also have muscles that respond faster, slower or just down right differently than others. It just takes trial and error. I have been working on my own face for over 12 years, and some areas of my face respond differently just during different phazes of my cycles. |

Oh okay... You must know your stuff then! Do you think I could have cause this indentation bc my right side of my forehead is weaker than my left?
Or, if is one or a few of the exercises that Im doing that's causing this, Im not sure which ones to stop? Any suggestions?
I have tried medical grade tape on there before and I can't get it to stay on. It's always been taped to my pillow or blanket, not my forehead! which one do you use?
Do you have a good exercise you could recommend for the 11s and while I think of it, one for the marionette lines (corner of mouth to chin)? My mouth corners turn down a bit. I can't seem to find an exercise that targets that area well either. |

There is another product out there called frownies. You can get them through amazon. Another thing to try a friend of swears by for the elevens is breathe right nasal strips. Except put the product across the elevens area instead of the nose.
I don't know which program you are doing, but if an area is overbuilt, I would stop doing exercises in the entire area for awhile. |

I also would think doing a little massage in the area too might help. I like some programs have a separate massage and some use them in the movements and so that's another option you may want to consider but if you are still seeing that line its worthwhile going back to program creator and asking her and telling her you are not happy and seeing what she can advise. 1 and a half months is sufficient time for things to have changed in my mind so there must be something going on here.

Ive tried Frownies before and didn't like them? they left lines on my forehead. I never thought to try Breathe Right Strips! I'll have to get some of those. I like the fact that they re more flexible than the Frownies!
TheresaMary, you re right, I should send her another email letting her know whats going on. In the meantime, Maybe I should stop all the forehead exercises for a while. |
