Have had this gadget for a year. It really is very good for skin tone, but does nothing for wrinkles and sagging, in my opinion. Now that I have it, I wouldn't sell it on eBay, but I probably wouldn't buy it again if I'd had six months to trial it.

After a few weeks, you probably wouldn't need much makeup - it really is very good for skin tone. But the wrinkles don't diminish. It's very expensive for what it doesn't do, to be honest.

Cesce, thanks for your feedback. How many 8 week cycles did you do? Thanks!

I think in all honesty I could same the same for the TRIA, it improves skintone but nothing for lines or sags. I have owned for 1 year and done 3 cycles.

hello, I am new here, even though I have been reading a lot for a long time on this forum and others. I have had my reaura for almost 2 years . and for me it has been AMAZING!!!! I have rosacea. only laser treatments really helped so far, and the doctor visits were getting too expensive for me.since it is an ongoing problem. I contacted Reaura, if I could use it for this, and they strongly advised against it. but I wanted to try anyway. my skin went from red and bumpy to almost normal and bumpy free, getting compliments ( using the reaura). When getting older there are the wrinkles and the sag, and the discoloration. this Reaura does NOTHING for the sag. they also don't claim to help with sag, but with skin quality. which in the end will help against wrinkles. fine wrinkeles will benefit. anything real, no.
it can also not be used under the eyes. the area where you see aging first. where you want it most. so I am still looking for something against sag and wrinkles.
I own the facemaster, nuface, stop, clarisonic, pico toner. My last purchase. which I am very happy with so far ( got it for a week or so)
my dream is to get my rosacea go in remission. rosacea is a huge attack on the health of your skin, and because of that gives premature wrinkling. I don't think that there is any Beauty gadget on the market right now, that can compete with professional machines, or make a REAL difference in aging,( my conclusion after buying so many) but it can really help keeping your skin in the best condition, which will help against aging.

I think the Reaura is good for slowing down time and preventing further heavy wrinkling but won't be a miracle worker for you if you already have heavy wrinkles. I have it. It does do wonders for skin tone, and my skin doesnt have deep wrinkles yet so maybe that's why it seems fine for me. I think if you do have heavy wrinkling then it will take several treatments to warrant real results. Wrinkles take years to appear, so they wont disappear instantly.

Improving skin tone is a good thing too. A great looking face is more than just removing wrinkles or improving lift. I like my Tria. People spend a lot of money on such procedures.

I also have rosace and I've been waiting for some one to introduce an at home laser tool specifically to treat rosacea...the fact that they warned you against using it scares me a little but I'm really considering this now after reading your review. I have subtype 2 and almost no sub 1 flushing at all, curious at to what anyone else thinks about trying this for rosacean skin?

i wouldn't mind posting some pictures, but I don't know how.
since it is an ongoing problem, and my goal is remission,( making me work on my skin every day) the best result is not constant. and after a treatment it can be red again for a day. but when I leave it alone for two days or so, it is white, or near white.
I started of with having it only on my cheeks, no flushing, 8 years ago, with papules and postules. slowly it moved all over my face. After getting a round of laser genesis they were gone. they ( this beautysalon) sold me the clarasonic , with the clarisonic they never reappear. the brush type( light blue) and the setting is also very important for me. if I change that, I will get them back, or my skin will turn redder again.
but the before and after pictures are AMAZING! the before Reaura Pictures do not have postules and papules, because they were gone. but the redness is horrible ( before using it) Rolling Eyes
I have not had any pro treatments between the before and after pictures.

you know doctors have no clue as to what it is? and I suspect they also call different skin problems rosacea. if you google rosacea pictures some look totally different then others. my rosacea NEVER responds well with what other people with rosacea respond well to.
I have spend a fortune on trying to get my skin back to what it was, mostly on a famous Beverly Hills doctor. who treats famous people. not realizing he charges as much as he can, to keep people young, not to fix skin disease. he made me pay $800 a pop, for laser treatment. and if it didn't help, he didn't care, he would just try again, with another setting, not blinking charging me the the same. without knowing it would help at all. I think I returned 4x before it started to improve. Where , which store, would you except paying $2100 without anything in return!!!! with the person selling not blinking about his failure, and still charging for it.
but after some time it did make me realize that what they do, I can do myself. just try.
listen to your skin. after I do my skin at night, the first thing I do in the morning, is inspect my skin. I except a certain redness, but not it getting worse. if it got worse, I will never do it again. if my skin looks angry.
if it is radiant, looks happy, I will keep doing that.
with the reaura I had to be very persistent, it took a few months for my skin to get better and stronger.
my theory is that rosacea attacks and weakens the skin after you already have a weakend skin. that's why it usually starts when you are older, like 35. because then your skin is weaker, because of aging and sun damage , the weaker your skin is, the more power rosacea has over your skin. like a circle. it getting worse and worse.
the reaura is supposed to reverse sundamage. strengthening your skin over time.
as rosacea also attacks the quality of your skin, and ages you prematurely, I am also fighting aging. apart from that I am aging of course. but let's just say that when I was 37, everybody guessed me 10 years younger, now only a few. and I don't like to think of what my skin would look like if I do nothing.
also, when your skin is so weak, it can not handle any kind of products, making it hard to use any kind of rejuvenating skin care.
now that my skin is stronger, I am trying to work with rejuvinating skin care, together with micro current, reaura.
see where it takes me. also I ALWAYS am for the look out for new beauty gadgets. Bad Grin
this coming from a person who never did anything special to keep her skin in good condition before I had rosacea.

I know exactly what you mean! I'm so sick of doctors charging me to tell me "well...it looks like rosacea, do you want to go on antibiotics? '
This is after I tell them I want to try anything other than oral antibiotics.

I am pretty sure I gave myself rosacea by over treating my mild acne with various peels, harsh ingredients, those damn BuffPuff exfoliators...all the crap that I now know is totally unnecessary ! And my acne wasn't even that bad, and I ended up over sensitizing my skin, coupled with a lot of sun exposure as a teenager and bam, rosacea. Probably some genetic predisposition too...my mom has a few visible veins but still way less redness/no pustules like I do.

I'm sorry you've spent so much time/money dealing this crap but it sounds like the reaura is really helping! That's awesome.

I'm going to look into it more...we'll see, I might pony up the cash for one of these babies. I'm just scared to make it worse!!

One other thing, the clarisonic gives me instant irritation...you might have way less sensitive skin than me

strengthening your your skin, getting your skins health back, is a long and slow process. I do things now, I could not do before, because my skin is stronger. me trying to get it even stronger, every day. trying to balance to not overdo it, but pushing it to its limits.
at its worst my skin did not agree with any skin care, any product. that's how I learned to ask for samples. I could not afford buying products, later rejected by my skin again. and felt it to be worse to have to return the product, then to ask for a sample.
if you can afford laser Genesis I would start there. try to go to a good place, read their stores reviews. I have heard and seen bad reviews about it too.( about laser genesis) it is very important they know how to use it. to me it almost felt soothing when I got it. after the treatment I was really red for a day or two, maybe three. as your skin gets stronger, the redness will subside faster. you have to get more then one treatment. then the postules and papules will go away, and your skin will be slightly stronger.
then try your clarisonic again. on the most gentle setting, with the light blue brush ( most soft) don't make yourself finish the round. finish when you feel it is right.
most important thing is to listen to your skin. always inspect it after you treated your skin the morning after.
if it was a professional treatment, it can take days to see the result. to see if the treatment agreed with your skin.
you also may have to go a different route then me, since your skin may respond different. the trick is to keep trying, and to listen to your skin. and you need money. it all cost money.
I spend all the money I can on skin care.
Confused
i got my rosacea in one hour. I biked to school in the morning every day. then decided I needed sunscreen. I bought Sisheido SPF50.
I left the house with my normal perfect skin, never having had any problems or allergies of any sorts. I got to school ( with my shiseido on for the first time), and everybody made comments about my face being on fire.
making me go to the bathroom and wash it off. most of the redness subsided, except on my cheeks. they stayed red, and soon after I got papules and postules on them.
since it came out of no where, I expected it to go away the same way. I had no clue. slowly it spread over my whole face.
