I have very sensitive, rosacea prone skin and I am looking for anti-aging routes.

Since my skin can't tolerate retinol or AHAs/BHAs, I have been very interested in investing in an LED treatment device.

Is the Baby Quasar MD Plus the gold standard of LED devices? Would a cheaper one on Amazon or eBay do as good of a job?

Also, I read somehwere that red LED lights speed up skin cell turnover? Is this true? Not sure if I want this since I have sensitive, sometimes dehydrated skin.

Any other input would be greatly appreciated!

I do not have a baby quasar md plus, but I do have a baby quasar. I also have the anti aging light stim and used it for several years before I bought the baby quasar. Now I only use the baby quasar because it does a little something more for my skin than the AALS....it's hard to explain what, but I do prefer the baby quasar. So while those are the only two red lights I've tried I'd guess that the baby quasar md plus will be better than something cheaper you can buy on amazon or ebay. Though I did buy my baby quasar on ebay and it has worked just fine for me. I also have sensitive skin and I use the baby quasar most every day. At first when I used it daily it seemed to dry out my skin, but I don't notice that now. For me the red light takes the red out of my face and also seems to add some lift and firmness...I like it well enough that I've used it almost daily for the last four years. Hope this helps.

Thank you very much for your help.

I read somewhere that red light can be used to stimulate hair growth. Have you noticed an unwanted increase in facial hair since you have started using the red light therapy?

Thank you again!
