I have combination skin with a lot of congestion and have used Dermalogica for ages (special cleansing gel, dermal clay, microfoliant, active moist). However, I can't find a product that removes face make up well. Their eye make up remover is fine for eyes, but should I be looking elsewhere for a specific face make up remover?

I have found that their Ultracalming cleanser is pretty good at removing makeup. My makeup at the moment consists just of Jane Iredale mineral makeup, some blush, and a bit of eyeshadow and lipgloss, so I'm not sure how it would go with heavy makeup. I've found Cellcosmet Gentle Cream Cleanser to be excellent at removing makeup, same with the cleansing oils from Babor and Decleor, YonKa Gel Nettoyant and some others. The Oil of Olay Total Effects cleanser (with the little granules in it) is also good for makeup removal but it's not something I'd use around the eye area.

Hi and welcome yummymummy!
wave If you want to stick with Dermalogica, the Ultracalming cleanser is indeed really good, it's milky ( hmmm sort of a Cetaphil texture moreso but a nicer smell and feel ) and you can slop it on and get rid of all your makeup inc eyes if you want( remove with a wet facewash for more cleansing power) and then do your usual swoosh with Special Cleansing Gel to complete the whole cleansing routine and you'll be as clean and fresh as if you use anything that strips more.
I'm a really big Dermalogica fan so a bit biased..but since you already have the rest, you will know Ultracalming cleanser will be able to be seamlessly incorporated with your current routine! Smile
