Hi everyone.
I'm 28 and Ive got super pale skin with super dark circles under my eyes that I've had since I was a kid. Long before I was a teen even...
The first product I found that was able to cover the circles was Cliniques Airbrush Concealer - but it wasnt longlasting and needed a powder placed over it to even the tone out.And it can cake a bit.. Or you can skip the powder and go for that reverse raccoon look..
After searching for a waterproof concealer, I found Lancome's Effacernes Longue Tenue. I dont think its waterproof, but it is water resistant.
I tried it tonight and oh my goodie!!!
Its so natural looking, and you dont even need to put some powder over it to tone it down. And it took a minute amount to conceal.
I LOVE this stuff. Friday I will have the chance to see how water resistant it actually is. But whether it is or isnt, I dont care! I love it!!!
Its the only product Ive even seen described as silky that actually feels it.. Im a fan.

Hi Diva! Isn't it just amazing when you find something that works for you? I am a big fan of the Laura Mercier concealer but in the summer I use the Lancome Effacernes concealer...I use Pocelain 1 (great shades, eh?!)...It wears really well and has a silky texture - it kind of feels likeit has a silicone base, doesn't it?...It's not moist enough for me in the Fall or Winter, though...it cakes a bit....but in warm weather (IMHO) - it's fabulous!

Hi Pudoodles.. !
The kind you are using is the waterproof kind (i think..) - because the color you mentioned is not available in the EU..
Slightly different name too.. the one here is all Frenchified..
And only 3 colors to pick from.. Im using Beige Pastel 1 ..
Odd, isnt it? Why arent the same ones offered... I would prefer waterproof to water-resistant... |

Oh, you're right, Diva! This one is waterproof! Go figure...I'd probably be better off with the the one that's water-resistant! (sigh..)

So Ive used it 3 nights now under hot lights. Its great. Its not totally water resistant, I had to touch it up a few times. But its very nice. 100% better than Cliniques Airbrush concealer, and you only need 1/100th the amount!
Looks extremely natural. Its very nice stuff. |

My Mum swears by this one too - when my current concealer has run out I might give it a try. |
