| Ive been using this serum during the day and tretinoin gel .025% at night, do you think this is too drying for my skin, I have combo skin. When are you supposed to use the serum, during the day or night, also I have been putting the serum around my eyes, could this be drying this area as well? |

 Hi beautyfashaddict, Im no expert on vitamin c and Im still waiting for mine to arrive after taking weeks to decide which one, but most members use the C serum in a morning so it can fight free radicals all day long. Not sure about the other product, sorry...  |

beautyfashaddict - this is a difficult question to answer. However, I think you'd know if it was too drying for your skin if you've used it for a couple of weeks. I can use 10% around my eye area and there are some here that use 12% or 20% around the eye area without any problems. That said, I prefer to use a lower concentration although in the future I will probably just use one serum (too many steps in my routine at the moment!  ). |

| I do know that vitamin c should only be used once every 24 hr period. Preferably during the day since there is no sun sensitivity with it, however you should still wear a sunblock. Using any more of the product is only wasting it. Maybe this is why your skin is dry. |

Hello BeautyFashAddict!
I use 15% Vitamin C on my face and 10% under the eye area. I haven't had a problem with the 10% being drying under the eye. I use Cellex-C Advance C Firming Eye Cream. The eye cream also has evening primrose oil, grapeseed oil, chamomile and aloe vera in it. It has worked well for me. |
