hi I have sensitive, dry/oily combination skin... and Im prone to break outs... cystic acne is my major concern. I also get inflamed cysts which my skin doctor injects with steroids for me (which is the only thing I can say does wonders)
I always get a chain of cystic acne on my face which i will do spot treatments to dry out... they slowly shrink and they stay red and scarred for weeks.
So I been using doctor prescribed medicine for years. I always been iffy on how well they really work though. they haven't impressed me enough to commit to the daily routine... I would slip alway from it a lot
So.. I was wondering if anyone recommends I continue / stop any of my products. or just tell me which from my list you would choose as a routine since I don't fully understand what things actually are.. I just think they sound good when I go to ulta.
ok heres what I have:
1. clindagel (topical gel) For the body for cystic acne. I was never sure if it helps but maybe I need to be more consistent. ** haven't been using it since I been so distracted by my store bought products lately**
2. tazorac cream (for face, I also recently just stopped and I am not sure if I was discouraged by myself being inconsistent and breaking out or what. ** haven't been using it since I been so distracted by my store bought products lately**
newer products I have been actually using:
3. mario badescu orange cleansing soap (this I actually love ) I wash my face am and pm with it.
4. mario badescu drying lotion (I use this over night for when I have bad pimples or cysts
bought yesterday:
5. juice beauty blemish serum ( cant tell since its my second day using this, i like the idea a lot)
6. juice beauty firming body moisturizer ( It says head to toe so i was wondering if that means a ok for the face. i figured this can help the scarring. I have scabs and scars all over from years of cysts ect. ..... so far it makes my skin feel amazing!)
free samples i might be falling for:
7. mario badescu cucumber cleansing lotion ( i like this since i feel like the soaps and stuff never clean 100% so this finishes it off. but i used it once so far)
8. juice beauty stem cellular repair moisturizer ( i was excited to get this since i didnt want to splurge on it so a free sample was perfect! i just used it for the second time tonight, cant tell just yet if it benefits)
so basically I have a bunch of stuff and am not sure if I am using the right things...
i also like to use coconut oil once in a while for an hour before I shower. just an extra i forgot to mention lol.
***** and if i wanted to go back to tazorac... can I still use all this other stuff along with it?? would I use it after everything else ??? ******
helpppp, thanks youuu =) |

I am interested in your skin's response to those products.
Has anything helped?
Typically its a good idea to not introduce more than one product at a time, so that you can figure out exactly what is in each product and then you can see also what is working/not.
Curious if you had any good results with your regieme? |
