Congratulations on the birth of your granddaughter!

I have had great success with Rosa y Fruta's Ambrosia during these cold New England months. If she would prefer to stay with Dr. Hauschka's line, has she tried the Rose Day Cream. It has received some great reviews here.

Suesancy - Congratulations to your daughter and to you also Smile Regarding your daughter's skincare, do you know which products she already has? I would definitely go with the Rose Day Cream. This is really rich and should be perfect for her dry skin. I would also recommend the Cleansing Lotion for something that will clean her face without stripping it. That's if she doesn't already use it of course. I also think that Penelope's suggestion of the Amrosia cream is a very good one if your daughter is looking for something new to try.

Hi Mabsy and Penelope - you are very kind with your congratulations - I have to confess that I am a very proud grandmother now Very Happy I think she already uses the Rose creams etc., but will try the Ambrosia for her. It will just be good to try to help - she has waited a long time for this baby and it is such a shame that she is now feeling so unhappy. Many many thanks, once more,

If your daughter has dry skin definitely go with Rose Day Cream and some Toner -- and a lot of us Dr. H addicts use cleansing cream on a daily basis, however if her skin is really cracked and dry the cleansing milk is a much gentler cleanser. If you really want to treat her, the bath oils are fabulous! Dr. Hauschka also has some very nice masks -- the Rejuvenating Mask is quite popular.

I had ezcema on my elbows really bad until I started putting emu oil on them, and it fixed them right up. I also use emu oil on my face and it wont break you out. It's an antibacterial, hypo-allegeric and a non-comedogenic.

It also penetrates down through all 7 layers of skin and helps with new cell proliferation. Emu Oil is an organic carrier able to deliver itself and larger components into the system through the skin.

For example:lotion by itself doesnt penentrate very deep in the skin but...using the same basic lotion and adding Emu Oil has a dramatic effect in the performance of the lotion. The subcutaneous layers of skin receive a liberal dose of the beneficial ingredients, making good use of all of the components and the Emu Oil.

I didnt mean to go on so much about emu oil but I love this stuff and its soo beneficial for the skin.

Gypsy, where can I fin emu oil? My husband has ezcema on one hand and the prescribed cream doesn't seem to work very well and has such side effect on his nails. It hurts to see his hand in such a state. Would love to try the emu oil right away.

Thanks.

You can get emu oil at health food places or off the web. Heres a link to a good site that list several places where to purchase emu oil on line: www.aea-emu.org
