....but luckily it is covered by the insurance and I get one 2x bigger AND it shows colour photos 
The nice lady from the insurance company has just called to say money is in my account now!!!!

A padded case sounds like a good idea. Im not a music person myself, my son has an MP3 and he records the Marx Brothers on it and listens to Groucho for ages, hes' 11. Its worrying...  |

| I was/am a Harpo fan myself. Its amazing to think I watched all these movies every christmas when I was small and now he has his very own collection of the same movies. |

Though I wanting an i-Pod or a basic mp3 player, I am waiting until my (pink!) Walkman kicks the bucket,. before shelling out the dough for one of the new lovelies! I am my ... 14th Walkman since about 1984, and I know how hard I am on them. I drop them at the gym or while walking. Regardless if they're the more durable Sports-version, I still break them (internally). The cheap ones last me a lot longer than the brand-name models.
I have downloaded a lot of music from the `net, and I shudder to think of what I might do if I were to drop, or accidentally "toss" an expensive mp3 player!! |

| I have all my music on the mac so luckily I didn't loose everything. When i get my new ( ) one, I can just sync it. I have taken the opportunity to clean up my music library so it is all nicely arranged for importing onto the pod. I always knew OCD would come in handy |

Ahhhhh guapagirl
Don't feel bad about dropping your ipod...
I dropped my cell phone in the toilet about a month ago. Oh god I must have turned 20 shades of red when I brought it back to Verizon....
I NEVER lie but I just couldn't bring myself to tell the guy that the reason why the phone wasn't working was cause it had been sitting in the toilet bowl....
BUTTT... I did get a really cool new phone...  |
