I am seriously confused....What is the difference between MD Formulations Vit-A-Plus Anti-Aging Lotion and Vit-A-Plus Night Recovery Complex? I have tried reading the descriptions without getting any wiser.
I am already using the Facial Cream from MD, to help moisture penetrate into my seriously dry skin, and it has almost done wonders. Now, I have some samples of the products mentioned above, and would like something more anti-aging as a nighttime treat. I must mention that my skin tolerates glycolic acid quite well, while vit. C breaks me out.
And I'm 33, so should start thinking more seriously about anti-aging, I suspect. |

It seems the recovery complex includes BHA while the other does not...the lotion seems to have both lactic and glycolic acids, while the other does not, etc. The ingredient list for the lotion is a bit better if you're worried about acne/irritation,etc.
If you're that concerned w/ anti aging, you could always get an Rx from your doctor for a retinoid. (Retin A Micro, generic tretinoin, tazorac, etc)
Don't forget sunscreen, especially because of AHA use. Well, I'd rec sunscreen regardless. |

Thanks! I am already using the Facial Cream with glycolic acid on a regular basis, would adding one of these be too much? I had a sample of the recovery lotion lying around, and has used it the last two nights, with dramatic improvements in my skin. It's so even, the dryness is almost gone, and I can use the BE foundation again, without looking like Sahara with makeup on.
I'm not really that concerned with aging (yet), as my skin has been taken good care of, and doesn't show any signs of aging.
But a pick-me-up would always be nice! |
