I know some people use them to lighten old acne marks/scars.... I guess they could probably be used on any type of mark you want to lighten... I'm not sure of other uses though? |

I'm Asian and while I don't try to overall lighten my skin, I'm prone to hyperpigmentation. If I'm out in the sun, I freckle, if I get a zit or any trauma to the skin, it turns into a brown scar. So I lighten the patches that get discolored and use plenty of sunblock. My mom is a bit old school and basically still believes that pale skin is a sign of high class since back in the day the field workers in Japan were the only ones who had a tan. However my sister is darker and gets a great tan when she goes out - the running joke is that she sucked up all the melanin when she was born so that there was no more left when I came along. |

Thanks!
I wasn't sure if people just used it for some additional skin care merit... |
